Memorial’s 100,000 sq. ft. expansion includes the most innovative surgical technology available today. Four cardiac operating rooms, including a state-of-the science hybrid operating suite, allow cardiac surgeons, cardiologists and vascular surgeons the flexibility to perform complex heart procedures without shifting to a different procedure room.

Seven orthopedic operating rooms feature the latest tools, including O-Arm® imaging technology used to visualize spinal surgery. The O-arm® functions like a GPS, providing real time, 3D images of implant placement in the spine. This enables the surgeon to avoid delicate spinal structures while greatly improving patient safety.

A new cardiovascular intensive care unit includes 18 beds and 4 recovery bays that are thoughtfully designed to reduce noise and distractions during recovery. These new areas mean patients and families can heal, wait and consult with their physicians in privacy and comfort.

As the region’s premier healthcare provider, these advances help our surgeons and staff deliver the most advanced care – leading to better surgical outcomes for you or your loved one.
