• Directorate of Quality Assurance (DQA) - functions as the

Principal’s secretariat on QA issues.

• DQA oversight overall QA issues in the University College.

• It serve as the link between the University and the

following stakeholders:

- External QA agencies such as the Commission for

University Education

- Professional and regulatory bodies

- Any other bodies relevant to the QA activities of the

University College (KNQA)

• Class Attendance – must cover at least 80% to sit forend of semester examination in a course.

- punctuality, lateness, absenteeism, truancy, etc

• Examinations (Observe laid down AUC Policiesand regulations)

- CATs, Assignments, End of Semester Exams &Practicums

• Usage of learning facilities & equipment –computers, lab equipment, clinical equipment,hospitality equipment, etc.

• Students obligations – towards the general public,press, administration, teaching staff, colleagues, etc

• Students Rights – all rights to humanity are upheld,rights to access relevant offices, learningestablishments, college bus, etc

• Evaluations - Instructor & Course Evaluation

• Students Discipline – know what it entails andunderstand the provisions esp. procedures andpenalties for misconduct (check with the dean ofstudents)
