As part of the Agreement to operate within the WorldSkills UK framework, over each annual cycle, Competition Organising Partners will be measured and reviewed against the Service Level Agreement, their action plan 2012/13 and the three broad headings:

Delivery and Impact: these reflect the nature of our work in that it has
a deliverable output, and that the output needs to meet certain criteria and have a
positive impact.
Raising Standards: it is vital that the activity leads to improved
outcomes for individuals, providers and employers – many measures will of
necessity need to be directly related to competition performance but, especially in
combination with other indicators, may represent a proxy for generally raising
standards.
Reach: primarily these are measures of the scale and scope of participation and
involvement that underpin our objective of mainstreaming competition activity within
VET.

End of Year review: Evaluation meetings 5th December 2013
Aim: The aim of this meeting is to review the annual cycle of competitions with each
Competition Organising Partner against the SLA, objectives and the three broad
headings (as outlined in previous slide) .
Outputs: To collaboratively fill out the Skill Evaluation for 2013 and create an action
plan in partnership with WSUK.
Next steps: The Skills Competition Account Manager will present the Skill Evaluation
2013 and the action plan for 2014 to the Competition Audit Panel.

The Competition Audit Panel
The Competition Audit Panel will make a final decision on the WorldSkills UK 2014
portfolio and nominations for WSUK Partner of the Year.
Following the Competition Audit Panel an official letter will be sent to each Competition Organising Partner outlining the outcome of their decision.
