Vanesa Fernandez’s journey in the cannabinoid space began in 2006 with Netherlands Echo Pharmaceuticals. She took the helmas CEO in 2010, and grew the company from a start-up to a mature pharmaceutical company. Its extensive clinical program included 9+ trials in the CNS and pain space. Vanesa developed an IP strategyto protect the company’s formulation technology, leading to two distinctive market-ready pharmaceutical products.

In 2018, Vanesa founded OCHO Amsterdam BV, a company developing and producing high quality cannabinoid products for the European market. She also consulted in the cannabis field, providingscientific advice to both European and American companies on pharmaceutical developments.

Previously, Vanesa worked as Project Leaderfor FeyeCon D&I, a company from which Folium Biosciences acquired certain cannabinoids assets in 2019. She led thecompany in carbon dioxide technology by creating sustainable products and processes in various verticals such as pharmaceutical, textile, food and cosmetics. As project leader, she managed different commercial development projects for international clients and set upGMP quality systems.

Vanesa earned her PhD in Chemistry at theNetherland’s Delft University of Technology.She holds a MSc. degree in Chemistry from Spain’s University of Santiago de Compostela.

Broad Spectrum CBD Oil (0.0% THC) is golden amber to dark brown in color and rich in phytocannabinoids, terpenes, and fatty acids. Our oil has a high concentration of CBD

when combined with the other naturally occurring synergistic compounds,it is the most precious hemp-derived oil on the market.

FOLIUM BIOSCIENCES’ BROAD SPECTRUM CBD OIL (0.0% THC)

CBD Isolate contains only one molecule out of over 100cannabinoids found in the hemp plant. All other cannabinoids

and terpenes are removed in processing. The final product is a crystalline white powder and is currently utilized in pharmaceutical products. This is a pure active compound and has the potentialto be regulated as a pharmaceutical product in the future. Due to its value to the pharmaceutical industry Folium has obtained an API license to be able to offer pharmaceutical grade isolate.

Distillation is a purification process in which raw Hemp extract is refined by applying heat and adjusting pressure to distill cannabinoids. This form of post extraction refinement is often paired with catalytic reactions to convert remaining THC into unnatural synthetic compounds rather than removing it. Finished distillate may contain unknown compounds created by conversion and degradation.

Nanoemulsion-Based PlatformFolium Biosciences’ nanoemulsions include a proprietarywater-soluble formula that uses a unique process and optimized composition to manufacture. The average size of our hemp oil droplet in this form is between 10-100 nanometers, compared to 100-5000 nanometers when is usually obtained by using the industry standard liposomal delivery method. The small size of Folium Biosciences’ nanoemulsion hemp oil leads to more total surface area of the hemp oil droplets. Due to their thermodynamic stability, nanoemulsions are resistent to phase separation (oil separating from water), thus enabling the formulation of stable products. Hemp oil nanoemulsions can be used in a number of consumer products, especially within the cosmetic, pharmaceutical and food industries.

We have several proprietary Phytocannabinoid-Rich formulation options for our customers to choose from.Our technology is used to create a liquid or a powder that results in water-soluble hemp extract. When ourhemp oil is converted into a water-soluble liquid, it quickly goes into the solution, forming cannabinoidemulsion droplets of 10-100 nanome-ters in size. Our CBD Rich Hemp Pellets have a guaranteed minimum cannabinoid content of 0.3%. These pellets have been assayed to contain approximately 20% plant protein, 30% insoluble fiber and 50% total complex carbohydrates.

The hemp meal used to make the pellets has been sterilized, sieved, and blended for consistency . A food-grade FDA approved mold inhibitor has been added to the pellets. These pellets can be easily administered to a variety of species, including horses, donkeys, and mules. The minimum guaranteed amount, 0.3% phytocannabinoids,
