About RIC Refrigeration Industries Company (KSE 504) is a group holding
company with diversified interests in manufacturing, contracting and services. Recognized regionally for our engineering capabilities and management excellence, RIC and its subsidiaries offer a wide range of high quality products and services that cater to both residential and commercial customers, in the areas of climate control technologies and specialized storage solutions.
In view of the growing Kuwait infrastructure and the limitations imposed on it by the country’s arid climate, the Refrigeration Industries Company was established 43 years ago in 1973, by Amiri Decree. The company’s operations began with the construction of the first cold stores in the region, to enable the storage of the imported foods, on which Kuwait relied. Along with the development and advancement of the country, so has RIC prospered and expanded, and is now a milestone in the history of modern Kuwait.
RIC takes pride in its successful record and the many accolades it has garnered over time, but the greatest achievement has been the provision of comfort and protection from the harsh climate, to the people of Kuwait.
More than 43 years of uninterrupted service, overcoming extreme weather conditions, war, economic recessions and ever increasing competition, is testimony to the fact that RIC has met the expectations and responsibilities that was envisioned at the beginning and also highlights the tenacity and vision to exceed them in the future.Facts throughout the years
1973 Warehouses were established by Amiri Decree.
1979 RIC Constructed the Medical Cold Stores Complex, the world’s largest at that time.
1980 RIC Air Conditioning manufacturing plant set up in Sulaibya.
1981 Production of Package & Mini-Split A/Cs started under York-Gulf.
1984 RIC was listed in Kuwait Stock Exchange.
1986 COOLEX brand Production Launched.
1991 RIC rebuilt the manufacturing plant destroyed during the war.
1997 Achieved ISO Certification ISO 9001:1994.
2002 ETL Designed testing lab became fully operational.
2004 Privatization of RIC.
2010 COOLEX becomes the first A/C Unit to Pass MEW’s new regulations.
2010 RIC Factory Renovation and Expansion into neighboring countries.
2012 Achieved UL & AHRI Certification for Coolex Units.
2014 Achieved SASO Certification for Concealed Ducted Split Series.
2014 Achieved EUROVENT Certification for Air Handling Units AHU.
2014 Achieved UL Certification for Air Cooled Chillers.
2015 Achieved ISO 17025 Certification for Psychrometric Laboratory.

ال�سركة على اإعرتاف اإقليمي بقدراتها الهند�سية وكفاءتها االإدارية.اأعلى توفري اإلى تهدف �سركات التربيد هي جمموعة �سناعات �سركة م�ستويات اجلودة من حيث املنتجات واخلدمات التي تلبي اإحتياجات عملئها ال�سكنية والتجارية. وعلى مدى ثلثة و اأربعون عاما م�ست على اإن�ساء �سركتنا فقد اإ�ستطعنا اأن نوطد اأقدامنا يف جميع قطاعات ال�سوق الكويتي. ونحن اإذ نفتخر باالإجنازات التي حققناها, اإال اأننا اأ�سد فخرا باأننا متكنا من الوقوف اإلى جانب اأهل الكويت على مدى �سنوات طويلة يف مواجهة تقلبات الظروف املناخية القا�سية �سواء من حيث درجات احلرارة العالية اأو االأتربة اأو الرطوبة.
فقد الكويت, دولة يف العاملة ال�سناعية ال�سركات اإحدى وباإعتبارها واجهت ال�سركة حتديات واآمال كبرية يف �سعيها لتحقيق النجاح, وقد كانت ال�سركة – وال تزال – معلما من املعامل املهمة يف نظر اأهل الكويت ملا قدمته من منتجات وخدمات اإ�ستطاعت اأن تغري الطبيعة القا�سية ملناخ الكويت. فبعد نحو 43 عاما تقريبا, ال يزال ال�سوؤال مطروحا حول حتقيقنا لهذه التوقعات, فهل اإ�ستطاعت ال�سركة اأن تتحمل م�سوؤولياتها على الوجه االأكمل؟ وياأتي الرد باالإيجاب, فعلى مدى ثلثة و اأربعني عاما تقريبا مل تتوقف ال�سركة خللها عن االإ�ستمرار يف تقدمي خدماتها واأعمالها رغم ال�سعوبات التي متثلت يف اإرتفاع حدة اأو االقت�سادي الك�ساد اأو اأو احلروب القا�سية الطق�س ظروف اأننا على �سهادة مبثابة الظروف هذه من واحدة كل كانت فقد املناف�سة,

1973 مت اإن�ساء امل�ستودعات بناء على مر�سوم اأمريي.باإن�ساء التربيد �سناعات ل�سركة الكويتية ال�سحة وزارة 1979عهدت جممع م�ستودعات خمازن التربيد الطبية, وقد كان هذا املجمع حينها اإلى تكلفته و�سلت وقد العامل, م�ستوى على نوعه من االأ�سخم هو
12,000,000 دينار كويتي.التربيد يف �سناعات ل�سركة التابع الهواء مكيفات م�سنع اإن�ساء 1980 مت
ال�سليبية.اأجهزة التكييف املدجمة واملنف�سلة ال�سغرية حتت علمة اإنتاج 1981 بدء
.York-Gulf1984 مت قيد �سركة �سناعات التربيد يف �سوق الكويت للأوراق املالية.
1986 بدء اإنتاج مكيفات علمة كولك�س.1991 قامت �سركة �سناعات التربيد باإعادة بناء م�سنعها الذي دمرته احلرب.
1997 احل�سول على �سهادة االآيزو 1994:9001(ETL) 2002 بدء ت�سغيل خمترب فح�س وحدات التكييف
2004 خ�سخ�سة �سركة �سناعات التربيد.التي اللوائح تكييف هواء جتتاز اأول وحدات كولك�س كانت وحدات 2010
اأقرتها (وزارة الكهرباء واملاء).2010 مت جتديد م�سنع �سركة �سناعات التربيد وبدء التو�سع والت�سدير اإلى
الدول املجاورة. 2012 احل�سول على �سهادة UL و AHRI الأجهزة التكييف كولك�س.
2014 احل�سول على �سهادة SASO الأجهزة التكييف املنف�سلة.2014 احل�سول على �سهادة EUROVENT الأجهزة مناولة الهواء.
2014 احل�سول على �سهادة UL ملربدات الهواء ال�سيلر.2015 احل�سول على �سهادة االأيزو ISO 17025 ملخترب ال�سيكرومرتية.
و املنف�سلة التكييف الأجهزة الطاقة كفاء �سهادة على احل�سول 2016الوحدات املدجمة (مملكة البحرين).
