CHAPMAN CAMERA QUAD BIKE
Fitting perfectly in between the Chapman Dune Buggy and the Chapman KTM Tracking Bike is the all-
terrain, four wheel drive, Chapman Camera Quad Bike.
For tracking shots where larger vehicles can't go due to their size, or for maneuvering in very small &
confined areas, Chapman UK developed a camera tracking vehicle that has the stability and off road
capability of our Dune Buggy, with the maneuverability and small footprint of our two-wheel, KTM
Tracking Bike.
The result is a mobile camera tracking vehicle that's perfect for hard to reach exterior locations such as
forests, beaches, steep & uneven paths or wet & muddy terrain (see photos).
The Chapman Camera Quad Bike is a specially modified design with a purpose built, aluminium exo-
frame, for mounting a wide range of camera configurations (see photos). The 750cc engine provides
more than enough torque and power for coping with heavy loads on road and off. The centrally mounted
engine provides an even weight distribution and a naturally low centre of gravity. Drive is selectable at the
flick of a switch between two or four wheel drive for on road or off-road applications. All four wheels have
double wishbone suspension for stability, traversing inclines and negotiating steep slopes over rough and
loose ground (see features).
The Quad Bike can carry a seated and secured (all seats have a safety harness) Steadicam operator on
the front or the back (see photos). Seats can be configured facing forwards or backwards on either end of
the Quad Bike. Compatible with all our Stabilised Remote Heads, Vibration Isolators, Fluid Heads and
Sliders.
As you should expect with all our specialised camera tracking vehicles, the Chapman Camera Quad Bike
is packed with features that ensure it's ready for professional applications, the innovative design
incorporates:

Smooth and shake free shots when using our Vibration Isolators and Stabilised Remote

Capable of carrying 3D camera rigs on a remote head.
Capable of carrying multiple conventional camera packages.
Adjustable power assisted steering reduces 'bump steer' off road.
Choice of tyres/wheels for on road or off-road applications.
750cc engine, smooth rev n' go, no gear change to worry about + front variable, limited slip
differential and reverse drive gear.
Low emissions and exhaust fumes can be re-directed clear of shot
