opportunities and raise wages and benefits. You can be animportant part of strengthening DC51 in a number of ways by

Salting or serving on a VOC. A salt is a union supporter thatgoes to work for a nonunion employer with the goal of

organizing the company. The strategies will vary depending onthe opportunities we have. A VOC is a committee that

collaborates and executes organizing strategies.
