Background
Founded in 2012, QQI (Quality and
Qualifications Ireland) is a state agency
established by the Qualifications and Quality
Assurance (Education and Training) Act 2012
with a Board appointed by the Minister for
Education and Skills.
Their mission is to promote the enhancement
of quality in Ireland’s further and higher
education and training; to quality assure
providers of education and training; and to
support and promote a qualifications system
that benefits learners and other stakeholders.

The Outsourcing Process
Celine also added: “As we are an amalgamated
body, initially there were a few challenges, e.g.
collating all of the data from the previous bod-
ies, communicating with Intelligo and basically
setting up our systems, etc. and establishing the
best way to work.” Intelligo worked with a
dedicated Project Management team made up
of members of both companies to ensure a
smooth transition to Intellipay.
