The South Site landscape design employs a fluid composition of

intensified toposequencing,

ecological diversity,

and civic program

to enhance the performative capacity of landscape.

The engine of the landscape design is a robust architecture of topography constructed of lightweight-fill, transforming a 1.3m

carpet of soil into a vibrant tapestry of sculpted landforms, tropical plantings, and inspiring social spaces.

The density of landforms,

gardens, reflecting pools, pavilions, plazas, lawns, grottos, and

waterfalls are intensified through

topography to provide the

experiential and programmatic

range of a much larger landscape.

Spatial complexity, programmatic distribution, and syncopated movement are compressed horizontally

and expanded vertically as a means to accommodate a hyper-intensity of use and improve

the quality of life for residents and visitors alike.
