Who are we?The Youth Steering Committee of Upper St. Clair (YSC) is a

community action group whose members are jointly appointed bythe Upper St. Clair Township Board of Commissioners and theBoard of School Directors.

YSC members include:

O Adult residents

I High School Students

O Parents, and

O Representatives from both appointing Boards

YSC works to link members of the community in a comprehensiveeffort to increase community awareness about various issues facedby our youth.

What do we do?YSC maintains as its focus:

I the promotion of positive behavior and activities forthe community's youth

I a supportive nurturing environment

t fostering of community awareness andsocial benevolence

How do we do this?t YSC strives to maintain a pulse on issues and

Concerns

O YSC holds a monthly meeting forum to identifu anddiscern these issues

I YSC sponsors community presentations,workshops and forums

O YSC educates the community-at-large
