What Have You Learnt About Technologies From The Process of Constructing This Product? I didn’t just use the same software for everything when designing my music

magazine and putting together the front cover, contents page and the double page spread. I came across having to use many different types of technology because with some technology, depending on what you are trying to achieve,

different types can have different advantages.

To do all of my work a computer was obviously needed to upload all my pictures to and design the whole thing and put it all together. Whilst in school I used a computer with a monitor and a monitor. I then uploaded all of my work either onto a memory stick to keep with me to use for when ever I needed to do the work so it could be transferred onto any computer. Or I uploaded lots of my work to Studywiz which is what we use in school and is a learning environment where we can upload all of our work onto. So I can access this from my laptop at home so it also helped a lot when doing work outside of lessons.

Fireworks was the programme which I used when producing both my front cover and my contents page. This worked out the best one for me as there were lots of tools which gave it the best effects possible. It was easy to use as I have used it many times before so I knew exactly how to work it all.

I used Publisher to make my double page spread as this is the best piece of software that had many options on page layouts and gave

you ideas on how to set it out.

PowerPoint was used quite a lot in the final evaluation, as this is a good way to lay out your work and present it in a good way.

Using different technologies and software’s helped me hugely as it

would not have worked without a variety.
