Q: With regards to VRV integration using the F459, would we need a display thermostat (part number 067459) for each zone to be controlled and can be use the VRV thermostats instead? And if we need the Legrand thermostat, can its built in probe be disabled and an external probe connected with it is used instead? A: Typically, when we use MyHome_Up for climate control we will have 2 (with or without central unit), using thermostats, probes and actuators. When we control a VRV HVAC system, typically the best way would be to integrate directly through a HW interface (as what we do with Vantage) and install a driver on the F459 that enables this functionality. HVAC control is typically done from the HomeTouch. I believe that in that case you would also be able to use the VRV thermostats on room level if required. Q: The old MyHome 3.5'' touchscreen (part number 573958) is not compatible with the new system, right? A: It is indeed so that the old 3,5" touchscreen cannot be configured through the MyHome_Up app. What I believe you can still do is configure and commission first your installation with MyHome_Up app and afterwards add the old 3,5" touchscreen to the system by using the MyHome Suite software tool. This would off course complicate configuration work and as you know, this will rather be a workaround since Legrand is pushing more and more functionality in the MyHome_Up app to simplify the commissioning work for our integrators. Q: Is the app available for iPad or tablets? A: The app MyHome_Up is currently available for smartphone.

Q: Which topology can you use to wire a SCS bus? A: You can wire in star topology or free structure cabling (see slides in presentation). Q: Can we select and play a Top 10 from Nuvo directly from a controller device (button or HomeTouch)? A: From within app you can stream music to different areas (zone control) and source control (internet radio or local library). Q: Nuvo control from Nuvo app or in common MyHome app? A: You can activate and stream Nuvo music distribution directly from within MyHome_Up app. Q: Is Valena next with Netatmo available in my market? A: We support Living Light, Living Now and Axolute in our markets. Valena next with Netatmo is a specific product solution from Legrand which stands separately from MyHome_Up. Q: Can we replace the F459 by the F454? A: F459 is only necessary for 3rd party integration (driver manager platform). Besides this no need for F459/454. Q: Do we need anything else besides the server controller? A: Only MyHomeServer1 with MyHome_Up app is necessary to commission a project. Q: Can we connect remotely to the system? Do we need to set a static IP address? A: Remote connectivity is enabled (administrator) from within network on MyHomServer1. No router settings, DNS settings are IP knowledge is required. Is managed through the cloud with the necessary security taken into account. Q: Can we have a 4 scene basic configuration and special functions configured? A: There's a specific category within MyHome_Up app foreseen to create and manage (create and edit) scenes and special functions. Q: How many F422 can we use in an installation? A: Extension to split SCS bus in maximum 5 sub-systems through F422 interface. Each sub-system needs a dedicated SCS power supply. Q: Can we view 3rd party cameras on the HomeTouch touchscreen? A: Yes, you can configure different and view CCTV cameras with the HomeTouch. Q: Can we manager Class 300, Arteor Iot and MyHome SCS with MyHome_Up?

A: In a MyHome_Up installation we will rather use a HomeTouch 7” touchscreen instead of a Class300 indoor unit, since the HomeTouch can support video door entry and enable extra functionality control (lights, blinds, climate, scenes, audio, …). Please note that Arteor IoT (or Arteor with Netatmo) is a specific product solution from Legrand which stands separately from MyHome_Up. In addition extra MyHome functionalty which cannot be configured by default with the MyHome_Up can be implemented by using in addition MyHome Suite as an extension to the existing MyHome_Up functionality. Q: Can keypads be engraved? A: Buttons from controllers (keypads) cannot be custom engraved. On the other hand, there are buttons with specific icons which can be used (on, off, up, down, dim+, dim-, …). The possibilities depend from range to range. For tis we can support and guide you through quotation and design phase of the project. Q: Can we control DALI? If yes, for how many addresses? We can integrate DALI functionality by using HW interface and a driver with the F459 driver manager platform. We can manage up to 64 addresses with this interface. Q: How can we control Philips Hue lights from a ‘general command’ in MyHome. HVAC Questions: Q: Are there drivers for HVAC? A: 3rd party HVAC integration is done through drivers which are installed on the F459 driver manager platform. A lot of drivers for different manufacturers and HVAC systems are currently available. We can provide a full list of these drivers currently available. To mention a few: Daikin, Toshiba, LG, Mitsubishi, Fujitsu, etc … Q: Is 4692 probe compatible with MyHome_Up? A: Typically when we use MyHome_Up for climate control we will have 2 options (with or without central unit), using thermostats, probes and actuators. The probes (like 4692) will only be used with central unit 3550. Q: Is myHome_Up compatible with VRV/VRF systems? A: When we control a VRV HVAC system, typically the best way would be to integrate directly through a HW interface (as what we do with Vantage) and install a driver on the F459 that enables this functionality. HVAC control is typically done from the HomeTouch. The possibility to be able to use the VRV thermostats on room level should be investigated if required.

Q: Can we do fan control? A: If the HVAC system and mechanism, as well as the driver, supports this functionality, fan control will be possible. This should be investigated based on HVAC manufacturer, system type and driver availability. Q: The number of HVAC zones we can manage with the central unit? A: I’m not sure, but on the other hand, when will we arrive in a MyHome project with 99 HVAC zones? Q: Video distribution integration? A: The MyHome_Up installation doesn’t support video distribution. Only videophone functionality is supported Q: Can we program scenes and timers? There's a specific category within MyHome_Up app foreseen to create and manage (create and edit) scenes and special functions. It is possible to configure scheduled events (f.e. every morning at 8:00 a specific scenario should be triggered). Q: And about Burglar Alarm? Is it available? A: Burglar alarm is possible and part of the functionality within MyHome_Up app configuration. An burglary alarm zone (intrusion detection device) on the system, allows you to exclude/include the zone from the burglar-alarm system and see its status. Q: Does the HomeTouch has multilanguage setting? A: HomeTouch does support multilanguage, which is a setting. Q: Only Alexa, or Apple Home Kit with Siri also? A: Within MyHome_Up installation, currently Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant are supported. Other voice assistance control support, like Apple Home Kit with Siri is subject for future development. Q: Can the app be used with more than one home (project)? In case of 2 homes with one owner. A: An installer you can create more projects from within the MyHome_Up app. Each project is linked with a specific gateway which has a unique ID number (to be scanned with the app). Q: What for the configuration of old installation My home? its the same? A: Old products (which are discontinued in the MuHome_Up app) can be configured through the MyHome_Suite software in addition to the MyHome_Up app. This means configure first everything (which is possible) through MyHome_Up app and add afterwards additional products are functionality by using the MyHome_Suite software. Q: Any scenario in case of power consumption value at desired level? A: Yes, value of energy management can be used in application to start a scenario.

Q: Do you have list of drivers for F459? A: A full list of F459 drivers are available on our website. Technical questions: Q: When will be fixed the problem with scenes activated by button from scenario panel xx4680? Q: Is it Updated for F413N , we had sticking issues for 0-10volts. Q: From India: Are all products shown during presentation and support available in India? Q: Problem with launching scene by button from scenario panel #4680. Q: 3456-IR possible to use within MyHome(_Up)?

Q: F429 was planned to be stopped for delivery? What is the present LIS decision, about it? A: Please contact our support team directly. Q: Can we program a button with short press and long press function? A: Based on the controller device (button) that you link with an actuator, there are different parameters within the app that you can set. The functions/parameters available depend on the type of controller device. Q: Guilherme Mestre: why is it not possible to put a GROUP icon on the page of a zone? Just a local button. For example, I have a large living room with 10 different circuits and it is important to have an icon on the page of the room that controls all these lights at once. The scenario solution is not very practical in this case. A: I would think that this can be done by using the GEN commands (general command for lighting), where you can link more light circuits into a group. Contact our team for more information.
