Energistics PRODML 2.1 XML
PVTsim Nova supports the PRODML 2.1 Standard for fluid and PVT analysis data. The fluid and PVT data is reported in an XML file that can be imported into PVTsim. The result is a new fluid composition in PVTsim Nova with all measured lab data. It has never been easier to input fluid compositions and PVT data.
PVTsim Nova 5 will be a time saver for the users. Fluid compositions and PVT data can now be imported with using the PRODML 2.1 XML format. It will be easier to develop common EoS models with a large number of fluids, PVT data and OBM contaminated fluids.

Fast Slim Tube
Using advanced mathematics (MoC) the slimtube option has been enhanced to give the oil recovery at pressures below the MMP within a seconds. With a conventional slimtube or a 1D reservoir simulator this can be quite time consuming.

The Common EoS modeling features in PVTsim Nova 5.0 have been enhanced to also support fluid compositions with Oil Based Mud (OBM) contamination. The workflow is the same simple one for the Common EoS options for non-contaminated reservoir fluids.

Separation App Enhancement
The Separation App introduced in PVTsim Nova 4 will in PVTsim Nova 5 be extended to allow the user to specify 2 inlet streams and up to 4 outlet streams at standard conditions.
Intersect Interface
PVTsim Nova 5 introduces an interface to the Intersect reservoir simulator.
