After securing the metal structure with cement, it is important toensure that the surface is flat and with proper spacing;

The solder must conform to each project and material's specificationsand regulations;

The pieces must be level, without visible damage, and their thicknessmust be greater than 25mm (the thickness of rafters/purlins willdepend on the type of truss design selected);

The wood structure must be the correct dimensions, flat, with novisible damage (such as surface cheeks or splits), and treated withprotective finish;

The supporting beams should be 25x60mm (purlins), 40x60mm(rafters) or 60x120mm (depending on clearance). If metal, useU-shape 30x50mm or 40x75mm;

Metal studs must be treated against rust, corrosion, and with a layerof epoxy enamel. Wood beams can be painted, treated with linseed oil,or other waterproofing products;

The first piece must be 70mm away from the edge. The last piece mustbe 100mm away from the ridge.

The wood structure can be fastened with wood screws or nails.

Any metallic structure must be treated against rust;

The truss (metal or wood) must be treated against corrosion and/orwith preservatives. Metal pieces can be soldered and wood can befastened directly;

The minimum pitch for Neotelha PVC gabled roofs is 20 degrees. The productcan be installed vertically as long as the assembly instructions provided arefollowed. For mono-pitched roofs, the minimum pitch shall be 5 degrees.

Keep the area around the roof clear and free of debris.

Be careful not to hurt or squeeze your hands and fingers.

The following equipment is required to install Neotelha: plumb line, powerdrill, drill bits, power saw, ruler, square, wrench and sandpaper, as well asall required work safety gear and procedures.

Panels should always be fastenedat their highest points. Each panelmust be fastened to at least threeplaces as per the models below.

The minimum overlap betweensheets must be:

Corrugated sheets: 150mmColonial sheets: 100mm

For Corrugated sheets, the maximum distance between supporting pointsshould not exceed 500mm.

For Colonial sheets, the maximum distance between supporting pointsshould not exceed 660mm.

Place sheets from the bottom up. Ensure that the bottom sheets are aligned withthe edge of the roof. Start by fastening the bottom part of the sheet and move upaccording to the numeric pattern in the image that follows:

PVC or galvanized steel rain gutters can be used. Steel rain guttersmust have a minimum thickness of 0.6mm and PVC 1.5mm.The width should be 270mm.

Please check to ensure that the bottom and side edges of the roof arestill aligned after installing three or four new sheets, until completion;

When overlapping sheets, a minimum clearance of at least 100mmmust be kept from the edges. The same distance should be kept whenoverlapping the first and second sheets;

The distance between the sheets and the axis of the ridge must notexceed 100mm. If required, sheets can be cut with a power saw;

Sheets must always overlap at their sides and edges. Excess must be cutaway. Before cutting, ensure the edges and sheets are aligned correctly.

An eave overhang of 58cm is recommended for best finishing.Rafters should be spaced 3m apart.

Ridge caps follow the same patterns and designs of the two sheets.They can be installed with the fastening kit;

During installation, the ridge cap must be aligned to the existingsheets. It is usually fastened in three places.

Ridge end caps must be placed at the ends of the ridge. They shouldoverlap the ridge cap by between 100 and 200mm.

Tectubo provides you with this exclusive finishing cap. It must befastened in at least two places.

Ensure that the side sheets are properly positioned and fastened;
