Puttin on the RitzAn Alternate Universe Legacy Challenge

Chapter 1

Yep, I’m at it again. I lost my first alternate universe legacy when the old laptop just couldn’t handle it anymore. Yeah I know. I’ve got other challenges, but I just couldn’t help starting another

one of these.

So let’s meet the first of our identical founders and see how different things

get.

Step 1: Meet Jason A. Ritz. Jason here is a Knowledge Sim with the LTW of becoming a Media Magnate. Totally fine and doable, well in most normal hoods anyway. But, Jason here is living in a version of Mysterious Falls with the

following rules: 1. Sims must meet their spouse through the gypsy matchmaker. She’s got some kind of deal I guess.

2. Sims with the highest interest level in Entertainment will become heir/heiress. In case of tie child with highest playful score wins.

3. Sims in important houses like this one NEVER work for themselves. This means they must always hire a service sim to fix something broken or buy a new one, they may never take a job, they can’t paint, play for tips etc. They

want money? Someone else not of the bloodline earns it for them. 4. Sims moved in to earn money for the Ritz’ family can only be controlled to give a command. I can never look at

their want or need panel.

Step 2: Alright then. Greet the welcome wagon and begin giving interviews to find perfect candidates to earn money for the

family.

Step 3: Read the newspaper and sadly be unable to take dream job

due to certain “rules”

Step 4: Go to community lots in town to get a hotdog/ meet more

applicants for live in servant position.

Step 5: Hire Gypsy matchmaker and give her nearly every cent of money you have left to find you a spouse. Cross fingers for

someone good.

Step 6: Wonder if you are gonna end up with a plague of ugly when

Carmen Patch is chosen to be your first legacy spouse.

Step 7: Have a good first date with selected spouse. Be annoyed at lack

of date gifts.

Step 8: Decide Benjamin is a very strong candidate for becoming the first live in

steward. Yeah steward sounds important. Let’s go with that.

Step 9: Become best friends with chosen spouse.Be disappointed that no date rewards were given

again. Cause it’s the land of always winter here and well only the bed is inside.

Step 10: After needing to be thawed out by mailman propose marriage to Carmen

hoping she moves in with money. Cause we need money.

Step 11: Have quick move in and get 13K..Hooray! Watch Benjamin dart off before you can move him in too.

Drats.

Step 12: Get married before renovations. Apologize to readers for plumbobs in pics…new computer

won’t let me use the tab key without doing weird wonky things. No clue why.

Step 13: With spouse’s money build groovy little shack and get started on

making babies.

Step 14: Discuss things like strange chimes at

dinner.

Step 15: Thank plumbob for makeovers.

Step 16: Build a snowman.

Step 17: Play in the tub like a pirate.

Step 18: Paint for FUN only.

Step 19: Fall asleep while pregnant because you stayed up

way too long.

Step 20: Discover husband is right building snowmen is

really fun.

Step 21: Clean the bathroom yourself because family friend’s are always

at work working apparently.

Step 22: Realize now that you’re writing this Carmen’s face is a little

scary in this pic.

Step 23: Be completely useless when spouse goes into labor in the tiny

bathroom.

Step 24: Meet baby Kira Ritz. End rotation and head over to Mysterious

Falls B.

Transport sounds activate!

Step 25: Meet Jason B. Ritz. Jason is a Pleasure sim who wants to top the Gamer career. After much pleading allow him to take career if it comes up. Course he must promise they are non

electronic games.

Step 26: Rules of Mysterious Falls B 1. Spouse must come from a well drop. No service sims hired here. 2. If stuff breaks you must fix it yourself. Everyone in the bloodline

must earn their own money. 3. We are living behind the times. No electronics ever.

4. Heirs are the sim child with the highest interest in work or the child with the most serious points.

Step 27: Head to approved community lot and play pool. Decide you want one for the house someday.

Step 28: After lots of digging up your lawn/selling the stuff meet spouse

Marisa Shahan. Be reminded of Ocean and nearly cry.

Step 29: Be grateful for slightly better genetics to

start out with.

Step 30: Work as a Barista for extra cash while waiting for job

to come up.

Step 31: Remember to actually take a pic of early starter house in

Mysterious Falls B.

Step 32: Marisa is pregnant.

Step 33: Play with the only fun thing on your lot.

Yeah playful pleasure sim living behind the times…I’m wicked.

Step 34: Fall asleep while pregnant. Get sense of deja

vu.

Step 35: More deja vu.

Step 36: Be giddy spouse can do Tai Chi!

Step 37: Tell Inappropriate jokes on

the lawn.

Step 38: Be useless as wife’s head is impaled on the cabin

wall.

Step 39: Meet baby Kimberly Ritz. Another

girl. Awww.
