The Onboard Monitoring Box (OMB) is a passive acqui-sition and monitoring hardware device, developed by ERTMS Solutions. With a non-disruptive approach, it col-lects the messages exchanged between various ERTMS OBU sub-systems (for instance between the EVC, JRU and STMs) and transfers this information to a configurable ap-plication software.
