columns and lengthy conversations with successful entrepreneurs and conveyed a session ofFedEx employees to talk about diversity, as well as his own candid responses. A must read forevery business person.

    SUMMARY

Author tightly holds readers attention throughout the entire piece by organizing his tactics in adifferent manner. He did an outstanding job with breaking down many various topics in to smalljournal-like parts. Each chapter had many ideas divided into sections and each one of thosepieces had headings or taglines.

In this book all in all I had find 210 numbered observations, and these are from one line toseveral pages in length and somewhat collected by topic in 13 chapters.

He does a wonderful job explaining the significance of relationships, the meaning of diversity, the importance of empowerment, and the value of mistakes.

He expresses the importance relationships and how they build success. Relationships should bebuilt inside and outside an organization, whether it is with co-workers, family or clients. Justbecause someone is high up in their business, it does not mean they are too good to speak withthose below them. Credibility is built through working with others and showing friendliness andconcern.

Other successful measures of business are the use of empowerment and diversity. Corporationsneed to empower their employees if they want to run effectively and efficiently. A company willnot run as smooth when employees have no authority to control situations. The intensity ofcustomer satisfaction is highly depended upon the level of employee empowerment.

He explains his views on not only the business workforce but also life in general. Also he

explained that life gives every person much experience and it up to each individual use thoseexperiences to acquire any change that may me be desired.

Diversity is another tool that is very important for business productivity. Having a diverseworkforce creates more opportunity. Companies are always trying to improve and innovatethemselves. The best way to generate fresh ideas is through mixed perceptions. New insightsare created by diversity.

Author also views failure as an opportunity to improve and innovate. Mistakes are inevitable, and without those errors, companies cannot learn. Failure is important; it gives companiesreason to create new performances or products. Improvements cannot be made if errors neveroccur. When working in business, people must always find ways to alter products to make thembetter.

Author expressed in many ways how good business practice can improve everyday life. Peoplecan learn great life experiences just from working with others. Living in a world with diversityhelps create deep levels of respect. Good work ethics can be learned at work or even at home.Individuals need to bring forth their learned knowledge to improve their quality of life.

When doing some change, do internal research to make sure that the new substitute maintains notonly a good but also a smart one. And having an edge can good thing.

You must impress yourself before you can impress another. To make successful change, practicing new habits is inevitable. You can start simple if you want. It will not take long totransform yourself to the way you desire. As author believes that anything and everything can bechanged or altered. Author believes that it is up to you, as an individual, to compose a logicaldecision to make your life better. This can be done by innovating yourself so life, work, andactivities are better appreciated and more attainable. Sometimes change is not needed or noticeduntil mistakes are made.

Usually something insignificant can change that is completely unexpected. Sometimes the desireof transformation comes from some drastic occurrence this happens so quickly. So you willeither change in nanosecond or never.

Altering things is good, whether it is every once in a while or all of the time. Nothing is carvedin stone Nothing. Everything is written in sand and is likely to be erased orunrecognizably altered by the next wave or wind that sweeps over it .

Sometimes change is not needed until mistakes are made. Mistakes are errors and errors breakthe barriers needed to achieve success. You should not only laugh about your mistake, but youshould also learn from them. It can be learned that mistakes are unavoidable and that being

hard on people is not always the right answer. Most people just need some direction; whileothers might need constructive analysis.

Sometimes Change is simple to take as it is but the difficult part is to remain or maintain thechange what we took. Whenever people think about the old habits which they changed. Theycould not find the correct reason of change. Change is like magic, which happens in life. So tryto accept changes regularly. Change is not a big thing if we accept it heart. And one main thing isthat, Change is law of life.

To attain the respect of employees, managers need to have interactions with them, especiallywhen it comes to criticism. In order to get your point across, it is best to praise in public andpunish in private. It is extremely important to let your workers know when they are doingsomething incorrectly, but they should be corrected only in a respectful manner. The best way totalk to an employee is alone, in private, away from other peers so you do not inadvertentlyembarrass them. If u respect your workers then automatically they also give respect to you.

one should always punish inactivity, As a manager. It is one thing for someone to make amistake or fail at making attempts, but it is completely unacceptable when no attempt is made atall. Success should be rewarded, even if executed improperly, should also be rewarded. It is onlyfair to punish those that do not try at all. No single person is perfect, mistakes happen andproblems occur. However, it is the people that exhibit little to no effort that cause the realproblems.

The way to show leadership is by doing what is right. You should also try to do your verybest. Sometimes, you need to be harsh with those that show no care or concern. An effective

leader takes the initiative to show productivity. If you want your workers to follow then act as a leader to get your point in organization. Manyof managers get upset because their employees do the things like show up late or dressinappropriately. So by showing up for meetings on time or early and dressing conservatively youwill show your employees the etiquette that you expect from them.

Understanding the importance of diversity can help elevate a company. Incorporating thisrealization helps managers do a better job with creating a corporate attitude that brings out thediverse workforces full potential.

Diversity is an awesome opportunity as opposed to a problem. Company explored by newideas and that because of Diversity. Is might as well be proven that diversity

    KEY LEARNINGS

If you want to achieve excellence, you can get there today. Change is a door that can only be opened from inside. Great=having the imagination and zeal to re-create yourself daily. Diversity creates one and only one thing: opportunity. Education, technology and entrepreneurship are the three great creators of wealth in the

modern economy. Focus on opportunities, not problems. Make mistakes. Dont try to avoid them. Slow motion minimizes the violence. In the real world a faster blow is harder blow; a

slower blow is softer. Everybody can win. Anything and everything can be changed or altered
