Nature is the newest trend in skin and hair care. For too many years we all have been

putting toxic chemicals on our skin, and in our bodies, that build up and make us feel

tired and sick. Whether we eat chemicals or if they seep though our pores, people are

finally catching on that natural is better.

In spite of the new trends, dont be fooled by just any label that say all-natural because

most of them arent as natural as they claim to be, and many come with a big price tag

    attached too.

Fortunately, making beauty products yourself isnt too difficult to do. So if you want

beauty products that you know are natural and are also inexpensive, just make them

    yourself!

I created this guide to help you create products that will improve your skin rather than

    harming it.

But this guide is about much more then just external beauty. Women have been passing

down beauty recipes and tips like these from generation to generation for thousands ofyears. When women take time to primp themselves, chemicals release from the brain that

are very de-stressing and anti-aging for the whole body. Lets join together in teaching the

lost art of relaxation, beauty, and self-care to our daughters.

You absolutely deserve to take time for yourself!

    In love and service,

    Getting the proper amount of

sleep is one of the best kept

    beauty secrets. During this

    important time, our bodies go

    to work with cleansing and

    repairing, ESPECIALLY for our skin!

If we do not get a good quality

amount of sleep and rest, our skin

is the first place we see it. The

key to proper sleep and rest is the

    quality, not just the quantity.

A tip to achieving good quality

sleep is to make sure you are in

a totally dark room with blackout

curtains or an eye mask at night so

that your brain can produce the anti-

    aging antioxidant called melatonin.

Your bedroom at night should be

dark enough that you cant see your

hand in front of your face.

Rest is just as important as sleep.

Taking time to rest helps to quiet the mind and allow the physical body to rejuvenate.

Take some quiet time everyday, even if its only for a few minutes, to listen to music,

read, or take a short nap for half an hour to an hour if you are sleepy. If you are tired

but cannot fall asleep, then simply rest your mind and body by lying down and emptying

    your mind of thoughts.

The fall season is all about change. As the leaves change color and fall from their

branches, it is a good idea to fall out of your old skincare habits and make subtle

changes to help you look and feel your best as the days grow shorter.

Because your skin secrets a lower quantity of natural oils during this season than in the

warm summer months, you are bound to experience some dryness. Replenishing your

skins natural moisture will keep it soft and help prevent chapping.

My favorite fall skincare ingredient is pumpkin. Not only is it high in vitamin A, C, zincand antioxidants but practically all varieties of the fruit have wonderful moisturizing

    properties.

Pumpkin Face Mask1 Tbs raw (undertreated) honey

2 Tbs raw pumpkin, mashed in a food processor or www.BuyTheMagicBlender.com (raw

has more vitamins & enzymes, but cooked pumpkin can be substituted)

Most people dont know this, but 20% of the wrinkles on your face are causes by sleep-

ing! This about it, if you sleep on your side or on your stomach you are causing your

skin to crease at certain places, and even worse, this can cause one side of your face to

wrinkle more than the other. It sounds nuts, but I promise its true. I can usually tell just by

looking at someone which side they sleep more on.

And its not just your face that will have more wrinkles from sleeping on your side this

causes more wrinkles on your chest as well. One breast will fold over and create lines

where it is creased on your chest.

So what can you do to prevent

    these unnecessary lines? Sleep on

your back. Seriously, thats it. Just

get into the habit of sleeping on

your back! Using an ergonomi-cally correct foam pillow can

make this easier to do if youre

not already in the habit, but it

might take you a few weeks to

    get used to it.
