PUPPY SPRING FLING (Summer)

Visit Eileen at the Puppy Spring Fling on Sunday, April 14 from 9am to 2pm at Aloha Home Market in Kailua. The event, which is being organized by Bertha Villanueva-Shertzer of Hawaii Pet Beat Creator/Blogger, will feature many pet related vendors. This is a great chance for Eileen to meet people and pets on the windward side of the island. She will be doing animal communication samplings and energy work for a donation at this event. There will also be items used in the pet blessings on sale at her booth. Also, if anyone is wishing to volunteer to help at her booth, please contact Eileen at etabe@manaoio.com Before attending the event, please be sure to visit their site for important guidelines. Such as having your pets on a secure and strong leash, good fitting harness, stroller or dog carrier. There will be no off leash dogs allowed at any time.

PONO PAWS DOGGIE DAY CARE (Adrienne Lee)

Did you hear that there’s a new doggie day care located in urban Honolulu? Pono Paws is now open for your convenience right in the heart of Kaka`ako on Queen Street. Pono Paws is located at 839 Queen Street between Ward Avenue and Cooke Street on the Diamond Head side of Waikiki Brewing Company and the Kaka`ako Pet Hospital. If you drive by too quickly, you might miss them so look for Pili’s face on their banner flag and sandwich board signs so you don’t miss them! When you see the red wave, X marks the spot. Make sure to stop in and check them out! Pono Paws offers day care Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 7pm, Saturdays from 7 am to 7pm, and are closed on Sundays. Boarding is available by appointment. If you’re looking for a day care with smaller play groups and that offers add on services like group indoor pool time and individual treadmill sessions to stimulate your pup, then this is the place for you. INTEREST IN RAW DOG FOOD INFORMATIONAL TALK (Eileen)

In last month’s newsletter, I announced that clients and students inquired about learning more about raw dog food. In conversation with owner, Gary Novosel, what might work better than an in-person meeting at this point is a webinar if people would be interested in tuning in. Because he is in the process of getting a new and bigger facility ready, I would feel better about asking him to take some time out to do the webinar if I can be assured of an audience. Date, time and location (as well as tuning in from home, we might gather at a location like The Public Pet to participate in the webinar as a group) are still to be determined so for now, I am just seeing if we have an interest in this topic. The Wedding Parlor Expo (Summer)

On February 21 and 22, Eileen participated in the first The Wedding Parlor Expo held at the beautiful grounds of Pearl Country Club hosted by Kahu Kalehua. Eileen had the opportunity to meet with attendees to talk story about their pets as well as perform some animal communication. She communicated with their pets through the pictures their owners provided. The pet owners were amazed, surprised, and very grateful to have Eileen communicate with their pets. Especially for answers found to some of their questions about their pet’s behavior. Can’t wait for the next expo!

SPRING AND MAY DAY HAKU LEIS

Spring is here and the flowers are in bloom - even silk ones!! This year’s haku leis for dogs will be available at Hawaii Doggie Bakery in Manoa, starting Saturday, April 6. The design for this year is a full circle instead of a half circle and actually sits better on the dog’s head. We have extra small, small, medium and large sizes and if the color you want is not available, email me for a custom made Haku for your dog. Here are Breeze and Roo modeling their May Day is Lei Day haku head leis.
