What is a Pump?

Definition: a pump is any of various machines or mechanical devices that move a liquid or gas into or through, or draw it out of something, as by suction or pressure

Booster Pumps Increase flow and/or pressure to a specific area- (Flow Ranges from 25 gpm to 2,250 gpm)

-Move water from a lower pressure zone to a higher pressure zone to supplement one major zone from another to supply a small zone at a higher elevation to provide for a dedicated customer to supplement potential fire flow demand
