The Medtronic Pump Therapy Expert Program is designed to update healthcare professionals on the most current scientific and technical information regarding insulin pump therapy and related products.

The program is intended for healthcare professionals who have some experience with insulin pump therapy, but are interested in advancing their clinical and practical knowledge.

Are there any requirements for attendance?

Youwillneedtosubmitanup-to-dateCVtoattendtheprogram.Inaddition,youmaybeaskedtosignaNon-DisclosureAgreement(NDA).

What does a typical travel schedule look like?

YourMedtronicrepresentativewillprovideyouwithdetailsonmakingtravelarrangements.

Anitinerarywillbeemailedtoyoucontaininginformationaboutyourhotelaccommodationsandtravel.

Mostcliniciansfinditbesttoarriveattheirhoteltheeveningbeforetheprogram.

Will meals be provided?

Additional meals will be reimbursed according to the AdvaMed Code. (A copy of the Medtronic Clinician Expense Policy will be provided with your program materials.)

ThiscoursedoesnotofferContinuingMedicalEducation(CME)credits.

Will I be compensated for my time?

No.Thisisaneducationalprogramandthereisnocompensation.However,alltravelandmealexpensesincurredinrelationtothisprogramwillbecovered.

How should I dress for the program?

Dresscodeforthedayis“businesscasual.”Pleasedresscomfortablyasyouwillbesittingmostoftheday.Wesuggestthatyoubringalightsweaterorwrap—ashotelconferenceroomscanbecool.
