pull & Bearquestions

1. What do you think of our store’s signs and how would you improve them?

When I visited the Pull & Bear store on Oxford Street I thought the graphics where very minimal, clean and highlighting the price points clearly. What stood out for me were the sportswear graphics, I thought the translucent acrylic with a strong sportswear image layered on top, really stood out and energized the store. I would improve the graphics at Pull & Bear by making the graphics more creative, colourful, adding different dimensions e.g. 3D lightboxes, and really driving the new dynamic graphics to hit the key Pull & Bear customer.

2. Would you change something of the displays we are using?

When I was in the Pull & Bear store on Oxford Street I thought the high level graphics on menswear where amazing photographically, but one side of the store was full colour image and the other half was black and white; I would of personally combined both the colour images and the black and white ones. By combing the images your adding different tones, the images would not look as flat and would stand out more by contrasting next to each other. I think high-level graphics are always evolving and something that needs constantly developing every season.

3. What brands do you think are doing good and why?

The brands I think that are doing well and why are:

- & Other Stories I think & Other Stories are really taking the high street by storm. By using minimal white stores then teaming them up with quirky wall treatments, burst of colour, light boxes and making their garments the center of attention the stores just gives off an incredible cool factor.

- Urban Outfitters Urban Outfitters use a combination of graphics quirky and fashion graphics to really entice customers into their stores. With most stores being designed to represent a loft, the graphics lend there self to the industrial environment of the in store features and also to the quirkiness of the clothes. Urban Outfitter stores tell a story top to bottom from the floor to the high-level graphics, every customer is looking for that retail story to buy into and Urban Outfitters depict this beautifully.
