Pujari community development project – Open Hand Pujari participated in the Open Hand community development project on August 1 st 2010. Our 34 volunteers, as a team, packed and sealed 2000+ food boxes on that day. Pujari also donated $200.00 to Open Hand on that day. Open Hand officials were overwhelmed by the large participation and support from our team. We proudly like to mention that in our team we had many young members as young as 8 yr old volunteer. This was a wonderful and memorable experience to work with them for a great cause. Pujari 2010 EC congratulates all volunteers and encourages everyone to join such events in future. It is sincerely worth doing. Special thanks go to Mr. Satya Mukhopadhyay, to lead this great initiative on behalf of Pujari. Finally, here are some responses the Pujari "Brishti Bheja Roddur" team has received thanks

to its striking work: From: Arunansu Dasgupta @NABC Date: Fri, Jul 16, 2010 at 4:20 PM To: Santanu Kar Dear Santanu and Indrani & Raindrop Team My heartfelt congratulation to you and your group for presenting a wonderful program. Recently, there is common trend to do fusion which most of the time I find very confusing. After long time it was so refreshing to watch Rain Drop where imagination blended smoothly with reality, unique selection of songs came alive with creative choreography. Even the video presentation became integral part of the story telling. Movement by the dancers vibrantly brought shining raindrop on to the stage. I remember while I was working with Mira Nair on the set of Name Sake she use to tell me that success of composite art lies in the fluidity of composition. Rain Drop exactly did that. Thank you, Arunansu Dasgupta
