Alex’s Brave New World

This summer, on July 1st in fact, I am moving fromMassachusetts to Austin, Texas. Besides counting

down the days, I have fingers crossed that itdoesn’t snow any more. I still have to pack!

I see the whole move as a series of good news-badnews events. The good news is that I am shipping

all of our home directly to our new house but thebad news is that I have to drive my car. The drive

isn’t that bad, it’s just that I’ve done it enoughtimes to know the pain. Its a good thing that I havethe summer to set up the house, but it stinks thatthe temperature in Austin in the summer tops 100

degrees F. It’s great to be moving to a new placebut I don’t have a job there yet - bad news. Noworries though, because it will all work out.
