Pricing and Positioning

The price of out magazine would be around £4 because looking at other magazines like Empire, Total Film and Premiere (which are all well known) their pricing is around £3.99/£4.99.

The positioning of the magazine (where it is in the market place) is

Distribution

I’d like to see the magazine be sold in supermarkets like Morrison's, Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury's… this is because this is where most people would buy it.

Newsagents in a city- this is because people visit them frequently.

Online- Empire and other magazines give their audience a chance to buy it online, this is helpful if the magazine isn’t sold in a country and people cannot get hold of it so can buy it online.

Frequency of publication and Rationale

The magazine would be a monthly one because most film magazines are monthly and the price is good for a monthly issue.

Style/Layout/Colour

I’m thinking of blue, red black, silver/white because they all go together well and suit the genre of our trailer.

The layout will be clean and tidy. This is because it is easier to read and it will look simple yet stylistic.

The style id like to go for is ‘Empire’ type or ‘Total Film’ because it looks so effective and I could get more of an audience if it looks familiar to someone.
