Our Carols Night is this Thursday and the weather forecast is looking good at this stage. All the raffle
prizes look very enticing so don’t forget to get your tickets in. All funds raised go towards supporting our
school band. Raffle tickets and the food order forms need to be returned to the office as soon as
possible.
Enrolments 2018
To facilitate school organisation for 2018 could you please inform the school office if your child will not

Scratch - coding for Year 1-Year 4
We're excited to offer our Scratch coding program for younger students! Scratch is used
as the introductory language to coding as it is relatively easy and skills learnt can be
applied to more advanced programming languages such as Small Basic, which we are
already delivering at Truscott St PS. Instead of younger students needing to write code,
Scratch offers a drag and drop option utilising pre-coded blocks in order to create
animations, games and interactive stories. Lessons will be delivered on Wednesdays at
3:30-4:15. Cost is $20 per lesson.
