This workshop will provide parcipants with the opportunity to use, assess and evaluate various observaonal methods in the public realm. Together we will synthesize, analyze and interpret observaonal data on public life and propose planning intervenons based on our original field research. We will focus on four sites in Poblenou: Superilla, Rambla Poblenou, Marbella and Pere IV-Trullàs. Barcelona is under global pressures that are typical of highly aracve global cies, including gentrificaon, tourism and the contestaon of public space.
