Lessons Learned from the Efforts for Enhancing Local Resilience in Asia In this section, recent efforts of the government of Indonesia, Philippines, and Japan for enhancing local resilience through various policies and programs will be introduced and discussed. Besides, cooperation with NGOs and international agencies has also boosted resilience at village level. Lessons learned through some pilot activities of the "Disaster Resilient Village" will be showcased with the recommendation of further improvement of the activities.
