Based on my review of the fee schedule, it would appear the applicable fee for the amendmentwill be $4,700.00. NSSl's company check in the amount of $4,700.00 is attached.

(e) NSSI has received an off spec shipment of Am241 containing 33 Ci (1850 TBq) that is tobe returned to the original supplier. As a result, NSSI currently has material to beexported. If possible, NSSI would like to export this material as our first export byOctober 1, 2010 if at all possible. As NSSI will be continuing to receive Am-241 importsfor the forseeable future and will likely receive other off spec material shipments, NSSIis requesting a five (5) year export permit (until September30, 2015). NSSI also receivesCs-137 sources manufactured in the Czech Republic. While we have not yet had toreturn any of the product, the potential exists that NSSI will need to return Cs-137sources to this vendor as well.

In addition as NSSl's sales and shipments to foreign users continues to increase therewill also be the need to export consolidated shipments of sources to foreign users.

f.(I) The license application request is for the exportation of Am2410r Am241Be sealedsources being returned to foreign suppliers up to 1000 Ci/year (37TBQ/year) and Cs-137 sealed sources being returned to foreign suppliers up to 500Ci/year (18.5TBq/year).

f.(7) For those sealed sources returned to the supplier (Ultimate end use 1), the purposewill be to return an unusable product to its manufacturer/distributor. For those sealedsources shipped to authorized/permitted users (Ultimate end use 2), the end use will befor oil logging and exploration or for gauging applications.
