LETTER FROM OUR PRESIDENT

Can you believe that we are through the whole month of November already? As we all get ready to have some much needed days off, let us not forget what we were thankful for this past month. In the busy days that we all face, let’s give thanks for the small things, whether it be a hug from your child before heading off to the bus stop, a simple smile and wave or ―thank you‖ for something you have done. This is what the PTA is. As parents we need to give thanks to each of the educators that teach our children and give so much so that our children enjoy coming to school each day. Have a happy and safe holiday season.

LABELS & RECEIPTS

Parents, want to help the school make money and get FREE sup-plies? Our school collects Box Tops for Education and Campbell’s Soup Labels. We earn $.10 a Box Top (found on General Mills Cereals, Kleenex, Betty Crocker fruit snacks, and numerous other packages). The Campbell Labels (found on Spaghetti O’s and soup cans) earn us points to spend towards supplies. Another way to help out is by submit-ting your Shop-N-Save receipts. The Shop-n-Save Seed Program provides an assembly held by the Carnegie Science Center. To participate we need a total of $250 in receipts per child. There is a collection box marked ―Donaldson‖ at the Shop-n-Save in Imperial. You may drop your receipt in this box or have your child bring them to school. Each class-room has a collection area for Box Tops, Labels and Receipts. Tell your friends and family to save them as well! We are always in need of volunteers to help with counting the classroom submissions and tallying the receipts. If you would be interested in helping out or would like more information about this committee, please feel free to contact me at [email protected]. Start clipping today!! STUDENT INVTERVIEWS

Mrs. Prevade’s First Grade by Logen Mackey: First grade is a lot of fun! I like my teacher Mrs. Prevade and my friends in my class. We have centers where we do cool things like math and reading stories. I like the crafts in first grade. We made a paper cup fireman. In math, we are learn-ing about graphs, adding and subtracting.

Mrs. Mackey’s First Grade Class by Zach Marshall: First grade is really cool. I like handwriting the best. It is neat

to be in school all day. Mrs. Mackey makes us have fun all

day.

If you would like to have your child write an article, please contact Anne Harris-Crowe at [email protected]. It would be

great to have a lot of children participate!!!!!

Second Grade by Josh Kuna "Second grade is neat. We had even had an ice cream party today! My favorite class is swimming, but Rocket Math is fun , too. Mrs. Stone is a great teacher!" Kindergarten by Ryan Kuna "School is fun. I love everything about kindergarten, but gym is my favorite. Ms. Wolf is my favorite too. She is the best teacher in the world.‖
