Centralized lubrication systems

The use of a single point style lubrication device requires the submission of a deviation request. The request must be approved by Ford Controls Engineering. Refer to Hydraulic Data Form 2631 for quick disconnect specifications and program eMIX for pressure fill Quick Disconnect Matrix. PTO standard is for electrically operated pump packages. Pneumatic operated packages for central lubrication systems shall be approved by Ford Controls Engineering. The use of pneumatic operated packages for lube transfer pumps and conveyer systems is permitted.

1 Central stations - oil systems

1.1 Pump package for central single line series progressive

lubrication system Stations contains the following: Reservoir, 0.2 lpm gear pump, 400/480 VAC, 3 Phase, 50/60 Hz electric motor, sight gauge, removable low level switch with pre-warning assembly (4-pin Micro), 10 micron pressure filter w/ electrical contamination indication (4-pin Micro), fill filter, pressure gauge, internal pump relief valve and pressure regulating valve set at 70 bar (1100 psi).
