Results :

A. DC circuit analysis

a. Series Circuit

i. Calculation Voltages

V 1=(R1RT )VS=( 100Ω1000Ω )10V=1V

V 2=(R2RT )VS=( 220Ω1000Ω )10V=2.2V

V 3=( R3RT )VS=( 680Ω1000Ω )10V=6.8V

ii. PSpice analysis

V 1=10V−9V=1V

V 2=9V−6.8V=2.2V

V 3=6.8V−0V=6.8V

b. Parallel Circuit

i. Calculation Currents

I 1=( VsR1 )=( 20V1.0 kΩ )=20mA

I 2=( VsR2 )=( 20V2.2kΩ )=9.09mA

I 3=( VsR3 )=( 20V560kΩ )=35.7mAii. PSpice analysis

I 1=2×10−2=20mA

I 2=9.091×10−3=9.09mA

I 3=3.571×10−2=35.7mA

c. Two Sources Circuit

i. Calculation current through R2

Step 1 : Consider 10 V alone

RT ( s1 )=R1+R32

=100Ω+50Ω=150Ω

¿ ( s1 )= Vs1RT (s1 )

= 10V150V

=66.7mA

I 2 ( s1 )=( R3R2+R3 )(s1 )=( 100Ω200Ω )66.7mA=33.3mA

Step 2 : Consider 5 V alone

RT ( s2 )=R3+ R12

=100Ω+50Ω=150Ω

¿ ( s2 )= Vs2RT (s 2 )

= 5V150V

=33.3mA

I 2 ( s2 )=( R1R1+R2 )( s2 )=( 100Ω200Ω )33.3mA=16.7mA

Step 3 : Add the values obtain from the both above steps

I 2=I 2 (s1 )+ I 2 ( s2 )=33.3mA+16.7mA=50mA

ii. PSpice analysis

I 2=5×10−2=50mA

B. AC circuit analysis

Discussion :

Suggestions for further work in the future:

1. Give the lab manual for convenience in learning.

2. Do not use red maker while writing on the whiteboard because it is unclear.

3. Use LCD projector to show how to do the experiment.

4. Use microphone to give the explanation.

Conclusion :

1. The DC circuit analysis is verified by PSpice Software.

2. The AC circuit analysis is verified by PSpice Software.

3. The PSpice Software can be used in both DC and AC circuit analysis.
