Our Products

Chlorinated oligosilanes are an extremely versatile platform for new, high performance precursor materials

with Si-Si-bonds.

Hexachlorodisilane (Si2Cl6, HCDS) and derivatives are commercial precursor materials for cutting-edge

technologies in microelectronics.

We use innovative routes for HCDS synthesis and robust, proprietary purification processes.

Beyond HCDS:

Other products with Si-Si bonds are expected to become enablers for a wide range of new, powerful

applications in printed electronics, hard coatings, high-performance composite materials, nanowire and

nanoparticle applications, thin film photovoltaics and beyond.

We operate a production facility with a

present annual capacity of 7000…35000 kg

HCDS (depending on the raw material) with

~5000…7000 kg thereof ultra-high purity.

Our quality management experience and our

sophisticated production equipment enable

us to manufacture and to ship electronic

materials at world-class purity levels.

Based on our deep understanding of

polysilane chemistry and handling, we offer

each customer a maximum of advice and

support for custom solutions.

It is our goal to reduce the costs of

commercial di- and trisilane-based

performance materials significantly and to

open the path towards new oligosilane-

based key materials for high performance

applications.

most advanced conventional

distillation/rectification routes which struggle to

remove critical impurities such as Ti.

Status 2018: < 5 ppb sum of all metals; 8N+ quality

We do obtain these specs with good reproducibility and stability with our proprietary, low cost purifivation process,

based on a raw HCDS containing about 1ppm metals (~800 ppb thereof Ti).
