  • 2018 Croatia assumed the Presidency of the CEI Central European initiative (CEI)

    MCPP organized an expert conference:„Energy efficiency in buildings - for a better tomorrow“ - 26 and

    27 September 2018

    • > 250 participants from 14 CE countriesGermany, Belgium, Austria, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, the Netherlands, Poland, Italy, Slovakia, Lithuania, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.

    - 37 speakers and presenters in 2 days

  • • 23/01/2019: Croatian Government adopted theConclusion on supporting the drafting of theProgramme for the Suppression of EnergyPoverty, which includes the use of renewableenergy sources in residential buildings in assistedareas of special state concern for the period 2019– 2021.

    • Critical are houses and residential buildings urgent renovation needed

    Sensitive category of residentialbuildings is located in areas ofspecial state concern

    The assisted area is based on thedevelopment index

    The programme also applies tothe regional and local level

    413 resid.buildings with 5,100apartments, mostly owned byCroatia
