• A framework for developing differentiated learning goals that are customizable and adjustable giving all individuals equal opportunities to learn*

• Offer ways of customizing the display of information

• Offer alternatives for auditory information

Provide options for language, mathematical expressions, and symbols

• Clarify vocabulary and symbols

• Clarify syntax and structure

• Support decoding of text, mathematical notation and symbols

• Promote understanding across languages

• Illustrate through multiple media

• Activate or supply background knowledge

• Highlight patterns, critical features, big ideas and relationships

• Guide information processing, visualization and manipulation

LEARN

• Attend at total of six DDL approved sessions

CONNECT

• Participate in a consultative session with an Instructional Coach or Mentor

REFLECT

• Complete two reflection exercises on what you have learned and how it has changed/enhanced your practice

1. Practice engaging lectures

2. Invite guest speakers to lecture

3. Identify clear learning objectives for each session

4. Offer presentation slides to students

5. Share videos

6. Encourage students to present sections of the material
