SERENIA CITY

Horizon Village Outlets (HVO) is an integral part of the Sime Darby Master Plan for Serenia City, which is strategically located 10km south of Putrajaya and 13km north of KLIA. It is connected by the Putrajaya-Cyberjaya Expressway, Federal Route 29 (FT29), Elite Highway and the ERL Salak Tinggi Station (a dedicated ERL rail connecting KLCC with KLIA). Located adjacent to the developed townships of Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi and Kota Warisan, Serenia City will also be just 10km away from Cyberjaya and the Sepang International F1 Circuit. This area is designated as a transit-oriented development that is expected to have 67,000 residents, 1.3 million sq. ft. of commercial o�ce space and hotels. Serenia City is envisioned as an international centre of excellence for knowledge and a destination commercial township that comprises an international university, transit-oriented development, and HVO. Serenia City’s location is enhanced by its transportation connectivity (air, road and rail) which will expedite the township’s maturity and spur continued growth of the southern Selangor region.

Directly across from the HVO, Xiamen University is being developed for 10,000 students and it is the first Chinese University outside of China. The development will also be popular with residents of the Klang Valley, which has a population of 7.1 million with an increasing per capita income. Horizon Village Outlets (HVO) is designed to exceed customers’ expectations and deliver an unrivalled outlet shopping experience. The racetrack circulation design was specifically developed by the architects, Adam & Associates, and has been proven to encourage intuitive wayfinding by the shoppers. It means that the visitor flow is maximised so that each and every shop will have excellent visibility and foot tra�c. HVO will have the benefit of seven entry points and a corridor width designed to optimize cross-corridor shopping. When combined with the multiple access points and cross-corridor optimization, the racetrack design will maximise the exposure and convenience to the shoppers for all store locations.
