Myrtle’s Message Happy Thanksgiving! This is the time of year where we gather with our loved ones and count our blessings. I’m grateful for our first responders and our military. I’m grateful for all of the hardworking men and women in our communities that make a daily difference. I’m humbled to serve on the San Diego City Council as your representative. I work tirelessly to ensure that we improve the overall quality of life for our residents. I’m grateful for my team and for the work we’re doing in our neighborhoods and communities. There is a lot of work to be done and it takes all of us working together. We are making the Fourth District a clean place to live, work, and visit. Let’s count our blessings. Interfaith Center for Worker Justice (ICWJ) of San Diego County 11th Annual Breakfast Councilmember Cole and several of her

Council colleagues received plaques for being voices for justice because “they care about the least of us.”

NEWS | Councilmember Cole joined Mayor Faulconer, Councilmember Emerald, and Dr. Michael Cunningham - the

Chancellor/President of National University to talk about the virtues of Education. The Councilmember received both her

undergraduate and graduate degrees from National University. As an undergrad, she also worked there as an Academic

Advisor. She is thrilled for the City of San Diego employees that will take advantage of this great opportunity as National

University is now the City's Preferred Education Program Partner – making education affordable.

Feliz Día de Acción de Gracias Esta es la época del año en la que nos reunimos con nuestros seres queridos y damos gracias

por nuestras bendiciones. Estoy agradecida con nuestros rescatistas y militares. Estoy

agradecida por la presencia de los hombres y mujeres trabajadoras que hacen la diferencia en

nuestras comunidades.

Estoy agradecida por poder representar al Distrito 4 ante el Cabildo de nuestra Ciudad. Estoy

trabajando para mejorar la calidad de vida de nuestros residentes. Estoy agradecida por todo el

trabajo que nuestras comunidades realizan. Aun hay mucho que hacer, pero juntos podemos

lograrlo. Paso a paso estamos logrando que el Distrito 4 sea un lugar mejor para vivir,

trabajar y divertirnos. Hay mucho que agradecer.
