FREEFORM treeless saddle is a one piece foam mould covered

by the best Italian full grain calfskin.

The modern process of foam injection moulding to produce a

complete saddle (not only some parts ) is a great revolution

in the saddle making world, moulding process ensures total

symmetry at the core of the saddles.

The soft structure and flexibility of the saddle allows the horse

total unrestricted freedom of movement, horse can move without

loosing its natural grace.

The horse back can arch and thus enhances vertical and lateral

movement of the thoracic vertebral column.

Rider is placed right behind the wither therefore avoiding

pressure beyond the 14th thoracic vertebrae and allowing full

range of movement of the shoulder blades.

This way the riders weight is carried without causing pain,

discomfort and damage to the horse's body.

The area on the horse's back equipped to carry the rider

comfortably is between the 9th and the 13th

Italian full grain calfskin leather ( Port Lewis Impression Pad ) has shown the Freeform

nutmeg combination ( =blk+new market) saddles to have some of the best weight/pressure distributing

results among treeless saddles.

The Impression Pad when placed under a saddle will give you

a visual record of how the weight is distributed being made

with a clear flexible vinyl and containing a moldable putty

Whilst Freeform is not a "one-size-fits-all" solution, its overall

flexibility potentially allows the rider to use one saddle on

more than one horse when used in conjunction with a properly

designed treeless numnah.

Freeform saddle feels more like a conventional saddle for the

rider but it provides a better contact!

Freeform has a twist like any conventional English saddle and

therefore the adjustment for the rider is minimal.

In Freeform you will not sit as wide which makes it also

suitable for riders with impaired hipjoints.

Freeform saddle is made from a base ( available in standard ,

short back or X-short back version ) and a detachable seat.

FREEFROM CLASSIC MODEL BTF VERSION The standard base total lenght is 22" the short back

( BTF = Italian suede leather + leathertex ) is 20" studied for shorter gaited horses and the X-short

with knee rolls plus, seat with poleys, contrast sitching back is 18"1/2, total weigt of base + seat is about

nutmeg combination ( =blk+new market) 3,5 kg. , seats are completely removable and are

attached to the base through a strong large piece of

French high performance velcro.

Seats are available in different sizes ( from 15" till 19" for

standard base and from 15" till 17" for extra and short back base)

and different models designed to offer the rider forms of

support depending on their preference.

1) Flexible alluminium arch

A flexible alluminium arch in the pommel section of the detachable seat give a self-adjusting fit to suit several

horses shape.

2) Adjustable stirrups attachment

A fully adjustable stirrup position allows the rider to place their stirrups

so the ideal shoulder-hip-heel alignment can be easily attained.

This adjustable stirrup attachment is designed to allow different stirrup positions,

from jumping position to classical dressage .

An adjustable stirrup attachment allows each rider to adjust his own

stirrup placement in the easiest way.

All D rings/buckles used are stainless steel .

Velcro parts are made of the best French high performance velcro

3) Adjustable girthing

The self adjusting girthing systems is a self-swinging arrangement and cates for

most horse conformations, this positions the girth automatically in the

girth groove irrespective of where the saddle is placed on the horse.

the internal section of the girthing is set on a "Y" system to help

distribute the pressure over the bearing area of the saddle and assist

in saddle stability.

Available also with 3rd girth strap for full positioning system

4) different materials available for the underneath lining of the panels

fleece, calfskin or suede (black,brown,burgundy,

new market), airnet ( red,black,blue,green)

Another useful Freeform option are the

different rolls dimensions and positioning.

Choose between knee rolls (standard

or plus ) or add also thigh rolls ( to add security )

or no rolls at all!

FREEFORM SADDLE CARE

Routine cleaning is recommended to aid in the longevity of your Freeform saddle.

A complete cleaning twice a year, followed by a conditioner and protectant, will maintain the finish and increase durability.

in case of wet leather the solution is to take action before that wet leather completely dries. Remove any dirt or mud from the

wet leather with a damp rag.

While the leather is still damp and its pores are still open, apply a coat of Leather Restorer.

As the water evaporates, capillary action will pull the conditioner down between the fibers to take its place.

The wet leather needs to absorb conditioner deep within its fibers to replace currying oils flushed out by the water.

Now available also the new western model! With a fork available in many different wither opening ( X.S.Q.H. till X.F.Q.H.)

the core of the saddle is in soft rubber fully flexible , cantle is removable through velcro so to be able to change seat size.

there are 2 models: Small Butterfly and Alll Round, both available in the standard and short back version.

the standard versions of the 2 models have the large flat seat while the S.B. versions have the narrow fitting seat.

leather colours available are : black, dark brown, burgundy, cognac and natural and seat can be in full grain calfskin leather or

suede available in many different colours.
