Transcription Description
Transcription is the making of a gene sequence. The mRNA molecule leaves the cell nucleus and enters the cytoplasm. In the cytoplasm the mRNA strand is synthesized and it is encoded. The base pairing is adenine with thymine and cytosine with guanine. The mRNA strand leaves the nucleus and goes into a ribosome.
Translation Description
In translation a ribosome attaches onto the mRNA strand. During this process the tRNA Molecule comes in with the anti-codon and places it on the codons in a specific sequence. But unlike transcription where A goes to T and C goes to G, but in translation A goes to U and C goes to G still the same. As the process goes on the anti-codons form amino acids and polypeptide bonds. The amino acids are then formed into a protein.
