Prosposal for a museum stock of freight wagons Beside the wagons you’re using already for photo charter trains I recommend to keep and
fully overhaul one wagon of the red framed classes/types. Wagons which are shown here
twice or three times are only framed one time. If you’re not going to use the rest of the wagons which are not unique, of technical or historical interest or any other use in the future you might consider to scrap these wagons and sell the scrap metal to a scrap metal dealer abroad against a hard currency. Scrap metal prices are high. Before you scrap the wagons you should remove the builder’s plates – carefully, they can be destroyed easily. Plates from 1908 – 1912 – 1933 – 1937
Passenger coaches You should search if you can find a guards wagon or parcel wagon which was almost always part of the passenger trains until passenger service was ceased. When you can find one you should overhaul it. You should check whether you still have some documents of second or first class wagons. If it seems to be possible you should rebuild one of the passenger coaches to an upper standard. You can include an air condition, but this should not be visible from outside to avoid to spoil the historical correct shape of the wagon.

The corrugated steel was probably a change from wooden side walls wagons to corrugated metal because of lacking planks. Some of the wagons got corrugated metal roofs as well
which replaced the original metal sheet roofs. A four axle class G.2.6xx wagon was converted to corrugated metal sides as well.
