FUNCTION

Heat pump technology

The technology of the heat pump is similar to that of a refrigerator - only the principle is reversed. The heat extracted from the air is brought up to a higher temperature level in a refrigerant circuit and is then trans-ferred to the indoor unit.

Function of outdoor unit

The outdoor unit extracts heat from the air. This heat is brought up to a higher tem-perature level in a refrigerant circuit and is then transferred to the heating water in the indoor unit. The condenser speed and fan speed adapt to the precise cooling or heating requirement.

Function of indoor unit

The indoor unit transfers the heat con-tained in the refrigerant to the floor heat-ing elements or radiators installed in the building. In order to cool, the function of the heat pump is simply reversed.

Effective domestic water preparation

An integrated 300-litre domestic water tank with a large-dimension heat exchanger is built into the unit in the WKF-compact series. For the WKF series, external storage systems are available.

Combination with floor heating, modern radiators, and wall-mounted heaters

Heat pumps are able to achieve their highest level of efficiency when combined with floor heating. With conventional modern radiators, the operat-ing costs are lower than for oil or gas heating ap-pliances. This means that cosy heating is guaran-teed even at lower outside temperatures.

Floor heating

Pleasant climate in the summer

In hot weather the heat pump can be used for cooling. In order to so, the function of the heat pump is simply reversed. You will find air-conditioning units in the range of accessories. The air-conditioning units work on the convection principle. The technical principle of the air-con-ditioning units is simple: Air flows past the interior heat exchanger and is ei-ther heated up or cooled.

Combination with heat generator in bivalent operation

The heat pump can be combined with a heat generator in order to cover peak loads. This appli-ance, for example, can be a gas or oil condensing boiler that can be directly connected to the WKF indoor unit.

Combination with a REMKO RSK solar plant for economic domestic water preparation and heating support

An ideal combination for a maximum of economic efficiency and environmental protection. Direct solar energy delivers a high percentage of hot water preparation in annual average.

Optimized use of photovoltaic current

The REMKO Smart-WP can preferably be oper-ated using self-generated photovoltaic current. Less expensive current must be obtained from the mains. This saves money and decreases the dependency on current increases.

Cosy heat in the winter, a pleasant climate in the summer

Winters are getting warmer and summers hotter. Tem-peratures of over +30°C are no longer uncommon in summer. This means that in addition to heating, cooling is taking on an ever more important role. One more rea-son to install a REMKO heat pump. In winter, the heat pump operates as an efficient heating system, whilst, in summer, the water-bearing system ensures for comfort-able air conditioning.

Heat pump package type Stuttgart for WKF 85-180 compact appliance series

If the heat pump is intended to serve as a sole heat generator, this heat pump package is the ideal solution. In connection with underfloor heating, this unit is perfectly suited for new buildings. In addition to the heating function, a cooling function can be provided when necessary. In this package, the domestic water preparation takes place in an enamelled, 300-litre domestic water tank integrat-ed into the indoor module. Due to the compact construction, the installation effort is extremely low. The highly efficiently controlled heating circuit pump in the indoor module can supply the heating circuits directly with water.

With the thermal high-performance solar collectors Type RSK 25, you can operate your heating system with even greater efficiency in combination with the inverter heat pump from REMKO. With the refined workmanship and specially devel-oped heat conducting technology, a maximum amount of solar energy is utilised. The RSK 25-5 solar set with two solar collectors utilises solar en-ergy for hot-water preparation.
