WelcomeAfter graduating from the London School ofEconomics I left a career in Banking and later Real Estate to work as a teacher as I longed to work in a field which not only gave deeper meaning to my work life but resulted in direct social impact on people’s lives. In my formative years I was greatly inspired by learning about the civil rights struggles of Martin Luther King and Nelson Mandela who both placed huge emphasis

on the importance of education to liberate people from the shackles of prejudice, poverty and

ignorance.

I believe education changes life outcomes through instilling a

palpable belief that one can learn, respect divergent opinions and remain disciplined throughout this journey of self actualisation. Gaining a sound education is in essence embarking on a journey that elevates the human spirit to openness,

tolerance and hope. In the words of Nelson Mandela,

About

• We assign homework on a weekly basis.

• We have termly assessment’s, ongoing progress monitoring and termly reports.

• We operate with a maximum of eight students per class, this allows students to gain the best learning outcomes out of each their lessons.

• We liaise with your child’s school to establish their current working targets, this enables us to help your child to achieve and exceed their target levels set by their school teachers.

• Individualised learning programmes created for each pupil and regularly updated to keep up to date with pupils evolving learning needs.

• All our staff are qualified and highly experienced.

• All staff with unsupervised access have undergone disclosure and barring service (DBS) checks.

• We are OFSTED registered.

• We provide a high level tutoring service for students 6-16 years of age covering maths, English and science. Key stages 1,2,3 and 4.

Curriculum

Keys stages 1 & 2Lessons are fun and creative and guaranteed to engage your child throughout the time they are with us. Each lesson is tailored to your child so that they are working on their own targets.At the end of Key Stage 1 and 2 (years 2 and 6) your child will be sitting their SATs. These are a series of national curriculum testsdesigned to assess whether your child is working below, above orat the national average level for children of their age.We support the children who attend our tuition centres, to be ableto be fully prepared for their SATs, building their confidence withevery element of the tests and the question types they’ll face, inboth the English and maths.

Keys stages 3 & 4We provide maths, English and science tutoring. Students will be taught the key concepts set by the current national curriculum for these core subjects.

GCSE Our GCSE classes start from Year 9-11, where an in-depth study programme is planned to cover areas of the different exam boards required for your child’s GCSE exams. Specifications are closelyfollowed with a vast amount of exam preparation and assessment.

11+Due to our many years of experience in running an 11+course from year 4, we are confident in preparing your child for

their grammar school entrance exam. Whether your child is sitting a CEM, GL assessment or a school’s own entrance paper, we adapt our tools to prepare for many of the local consortia.

We cover all 4 areas that are tested on, including English, maths,verbal and non-verbal reasoning with regular mocks and assessments.

want to be able to benefit from the tuition services thatwe offer. However, we also appreciate that finding the money to fund this can be difficult, particularly in the current economic climate.

Therefore, we are pleased to announce that parents can take advantage of savings on fees through Working Tax Credit up to 70% of your childcare fees.

Childcare Vouchers: a popular scheme which an increasing number of employers are adopting. This scheme works via salary sacrifice where an employer pays the employee partially in the form of Childcare Vouchers up to a value of £243 per month. These Vouchersare both tax and National Insurance free, thus greater in value than the cash equivalent, and can be used to pay for approved services.

Learn to Achieve have an in-house transportation service

where we can provide pick and drop off service (additional charge applies)

We also offer a weekday Homework/Booster club between 4.30-7.00pm

from Age 5-16 years, providing support in Maths, English and science as well as homework

support.
