PERFORMANCE LINKED INCENTIVE

An incentive of 20% of the total advertised amount payable to Owners,Trainers & Jockeys will be given to Owners of horses finishing first, second,third, fourth and fifth during the Mumbai Meeting 2019/2020. This will bepayable only for non-sponsored races where the total stakes do not exceedRs.6 lakhs.

These incentives are only for Western India based horses and not foroutstation horses. Further there would be no deduction by way oftrainers’ or jockeys’ commission or any other deduction from thisperformance linked incentive payable to Owners.

N O T I C E

The Committee of the Royal Western India Turf Club, Ltd. has decided thatin all those races, as specified in the Prospectus, excepting Sweepstakesand any other race in the conditions of which it is otherwise expresslyspecified, stakes will be paid as under;

In races run below 1800 Metres ;

Ø 4th & 5th place will be paid stakes only when there are 6 or moreactual runners in Class-I & II.

Ø 4th place will be paid stakes only when there are 6 or more actualrunners in Class-III, IV, V and terms races for 2 year olds in 2019/3 year olds in 2020.

Ø 5th place will be paid stakes only when there are 8 or more actualrunners in Class-III, IV, V and terms races for 2 year olds in 2019/3 year olds in 2020.

In races run 1800 Metres & over stake money for the 4th & 5th place willbe paid only if there are 5 & 6 actual runners respectively.

RE : NORMS PERTAINING TO 2-YEAR-OLD-HORSES IN WESTERN INDIA& OUTSTATION HORSES COMING TO RACE IN WESTERN INDIA FORTHE MUMBAI MEETING 2019/2020:

1. (a) A 2 year-old horse entering in training in Western India will payRs.12,000/- as Arrival Charge provided that the horse is physicallypresent in Western India or is in the list of expected 2-year-oldhorses supplied by the Trainer. This is as per the notice requestingfor the list by 20th February 2019.

(b) The Stewards of the Club have decided that a 2 year old horse,other than those referred to in the paragraph above, for whichpermission is sought after April 2019 will attract an Arrival Charge ofRs.15,000, provided Stable/s is/are available to accommodate suchhorse/s both in Mumbai and Pune for Western India based Owner/s.

2. A 2 year-old horse, as per the list in Point 1 (a) above, must bephysically present at the Mumbai/Pune Race Course to participateduring the Mumbai Meeting 2019/20, by 15th November 2019,otherwise Rs.15,000 per horse will be charged as Arrival Charges.Further, if horse/s mentioned in the List of expected 2-year-oldhorses supplied by the Trainer/s, do not arrive by 15th November2019 at the latest, the Trainer will be penalized.

3. If the Arrival Charge has been paid in respect of a horse, the horsecan come back to Western India for racing, provided the Trainertaking charge of the horse has Stabling facility for the said horse.

4. It is clarified that the Arrival Charges as mentioned in this Noticeare Charges for permitting a horse to race in Western India only forsuch time and up to such age as fixed and decided by the Stewardsof the Club, at their sole discretion from time to time and no right ofwhatsoever nature, (including right for stable accommodation), shallbe deemed to be created in favour of any person by virtue of thearrival charges imposed by the Club as aforesaid.

5. Outstation horse/s will be required to pay the Arrival Charges ofRs.15,000 per Racing Season.

6. Outstation horses will be permitted to race in all races during theMumbai Meeting 2019/2020 except races for horses in Class IV & V.

7. Request for allotment of Stables for the Outstation horse will haveto be made, in writing, by the Trainer concerned, well in advance.Priority will be given to

a. Horses entered/left-in the Classic race/s.b. Horses entered/left-in the Graded race/s.c. Horses entered/left-in the Guaranteed Million race/s.

8. A Western India Trainer shall only be allowed to stable anOutstation horse in his yard provided that he has vacant Stables.These horses can be attended to by his local Syces.

9. The Western India Trainer taking charge of Outstation horse/sshall be solely and entirely responsible for any positive finding ofa prohibited substance.

10. An Outstation horse entered for a race must be present on thepremises of the RWITC Ltd to participate in a race before the timespecified for the Acceptances, unless an advance intimation inwriting is received from the Trainer concerned regarding the arrivaldate of the horse. An Outstation Trainer must state in advance thename of races he wishes to race his charge during the Meeting andwhen the horse/s would leave station.

11. Syces of Outstation horse/s may look after that horse if the horse ishoused in the Stables reserved for Outstation horses and a WesternIndia Trainer may look after the said horse/s on behalf of the originalTrainer.

12. A Horse owned by Western India based Owner/s racing at otherTurf Clubs and, on application, may be permitted to come to WesternIndia to an ‘A’ licence Trainer at an Arrival Charge of Rs.15,000/-subject to availability of stables, both in Mumbai and Pune.

13. The cost of analysis of the urine samples drawn from out-station horseson arrival will be borne by the respective Owner/s of that horse/s.

RE: GUIDELINES FOR MOVEMENT OF THOROUGHBRED HORSESINTO R.W.I.T.C. LTD AT MUMBAI & PUNE

All concerned may kindly note that:

A. All thorough-bred horses arriving at RWITC Ltd Mumbai/Pune from the Stud Farms/ Turf Authorities located inGlanders free States should possess the following documents:

1 Passport;2. Valid EIA Certificate;3. A Health Certificate from the Senior/ Chief Veterinary

Officer/ Veterinary Officer where the horse last racedstating that the horseneither suffered nor showed anysigns of infectious or contagious diseases like EIA,Glanders, African Horse Sickness and Dourine, etc.

B. All thorough-bred horses arriving at RWITC Ltd from theStud Farms/ Turf Authorities located in States whereGlanders is either reported or notified should posses thefollowing documents:

1. Passport;2. Valid EIA Certificate;3. CFT Glanders Certificate from DRL, Pune or NRCE, Hissar

(Validity period – 30 days).4. In case a horse is arriving from a Stud farm – A Certificate

from Deputy Director/ Joint Director of Animal HusbandryDepartment of that location stating that there is No Glanderscases in that Stud Farm and also within the vicinity of 25kms from the Stud Farm.

5. In case a horse is arriving from another Turf Authority - AHealth Certificate from the Senior/ Chief Veterinary Officerwhere the horse last raced stating that the horse neithersuffered nor showed any signs of infectious diseases likeEIA, Glanders, African Horse Sickness and Dourine, etc.

C. All thoroughbred horses arriving at RWITC Ltd from theStud Farms/ Turf Authorities should be administered withprimary course of approved vaccinations against Equine

Influenza comprising of at least two doses given inaccordance with the manufacturers recommendation but notwithin 14 days of departure and bearing the VaccinationCertificate with the details of Date of Vaccination, Nameof Vaccine, Batch number and Expiry date and duly signedby either Chief Veterinarian of the Stud Farm or PanelVeterinarian only and duly endorsed in the Passport. TurfAuthorities of India is permitting the use of Calvenza-03Vaccine for Equine Influenza.However if the Senior Veterinary Officer of a Turf Clubcertifies that a particular horse had suffered from EquineInfluenza, then that horse shall be exempted from vaccinationfor a period of 6 months from the date of onset of clinicalsigns of Equine Influenza.

D. The onus would be on the Trainer concerned to ascertainfrom the RWITC Ltd in advance of the documents required.

E. Horses without necessary Certificate/ PassportEndorsement will not be permitted to enter the race courseunder any circumstances.

F. The Stewards may impose any fine or penalty for the breachof these Rules at their discretion.

Re: Trophies and Cups

It has been decided that if an owner opts to retain any Trophy, the Club shallget the plaque engraved with the necessary details such as the year andplace of the Meeting, name of the race, the winning horse, the Owner/Owners.This facility is being offered free of cost to the owner. It is expected that theengraved Trophy will be ready within 7 to 10 days time and on receipt of theTrophy by the Club, it shall be duly forwarded to the Owner.

As already intimated earlier if an owner requires a replica of a Trophy of aClassic Race or any other race won by him/her, an order for the replica will beplaced with the manufactures on behalf of the owner/s and the replica will besupplied to the owner/s after receipt of the same by the Club. The Ownerconcerned would have to pay for the replica at the rate prevailing at the timesuch an order is placed on his behalf.

PRESENCE OF A HORSE ON THE CLUB’S PREMISES.ENTERED FOR A RACE

The Stewards of the Club at their Meeting held on 4th March, 2007 havedecided that an Out-station horse must be present on the premises of thisClub to participate in a race for which the horse is duly entered, before thetime specified for the Acceptances, unless an advance intimation, in writing,is received from the Trainer concerned regarding the arrival date and time ofthe horse.

Due to non-compliance of any of the conditions mentioned above, theconcerned horse will be struck out at the Acceptance stage and the Trainermay be fined, at the discretion of the Stewards.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

1. The Stewards reserve the right to amend or alter any of the Clause/scontained in the General Conditions of this Prospectus, if the circumstancesso warrant.

2. All entries must be accompanied by a remittance for the full amount ofsuch entries or they will be declined.

(a) When a remittance is made to the Secretary without specifying the wayin which it is to be applied, the money will be credited to the race/s in theorder of the program.

(b) Cheques and drafts must be made payable in Mumbai in favour of theSecretary, R.W.I.T.C., Ltd., and not to any one by name.

(c) Entry must be made by the Owner or by a person duly authorized by him, inwriting, in accordance with Rules 72, 83 and 84 of Rules of Racing.

(d) Horses eligible in two Classes are the ones rated as under:Class Horses eligible

A horse may be entered in race/s, where it is eligible on the same day; however,such horse may be accepted to run in not more than one race on that day. Exceptin handicaps, the correct weight of any horse not struck out must be notified inwriting to the Secretary not later than the date and time published for finalforfeits. In races where no such final forfeits are advertised, correct weightsmust be declared in the entry form not later than the date and time published forclosing of entries. The person responsible for failing to comply with theseGeneral Conditions will be fined.

(f) The Stewards reserve the right to refuse or cancel any entry at any timewithout assigning any reason.

(g) The Stewards will refuse all entries made by or on behalf of any Ownerwho is not of the age of majority according to the law to which he is subject.

(h) The Stewards reserve the right to alter the date of or abandon any race ormeeting owing to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

(i) The Stewards reserve the right to amend or alter the conditions of anyrace at any time before the closing time of entries.

(j) In races run below 2000 metres in Class I (horses rated 80 & upward) andClass II (horses rated 60 to 86), if there are less than 5 (Five) entries inbonafide separate interest, such race/s shall be declared void.

In races run 2000 metres and over in Class I (horses rated 80 & upward) andClass II(horses rated 60 to 86), if there are less than 4 (Four) entries inbonafide separate interest, such race/s shall be declared void.

In races run 1600 metres and over in Class IV (horses rated 20 to 46)andClass V (horses rated 4 to 30), if there are less than 6 (Six) entries inbonafide separate interest, such race/s shall be declared void.

In races for 2 year old horses (ie upto 31st December 2019) if there are lessthan 6 (Six) entries in bonafide separate interest, such race/s shall bedeclared void.

From 1st January 2020 in races for 3 year old horses run below 1600 metres ifthere are less than 7 (Seven) entries in bonafide separate interest, suchrace/s shall be declared void.

From 1st January 2020 in races for 3 year old horses run 1600 metres and overif there are less than 6 (Six) entries in bonafide separate interest, suchrace/s shall be declared void.

(ii) ALL ACCEPTORS MUST RUN IN ALL RACES.

(iii) In case of morning race days, no race will be divided except those for 2/3-year-old horses. In the event of there being excess number of acceptors overthe prescribed safety limit of the Track, the excess number of acceptors shall beballoted out.

(iv) There shall not be more than two divisions of any race in case of a divisionat the acceptance stage. In the event of there being excess number of acceptorsover the prescribed limit of the track for either or both divisions, rejection will bebased on the aggregate value of all stakes won by the horse after 30th April2017, in ascending order starting from the horse which has earned the lowestaggregate stakes. In case of a tie, wherever applicable, the horse/s to be rejectedwill be determined by ballot. The excess number of acceptors shall be rejectedprior to the division being made. In non-sweepstake races confined to maidens,rejection will be by ballot.

Trainers of acceptors in such races are requested to be present whenballoting takes place.

(v) If a horse is accepted in more than one race for the races to be held on the same day,then the Handicapper will have the right to scratch out the horse from one of the tworaces, at the Acceptance stage. If such a horse has been accepted in both Handicapraces or both terms races, then it would be struck out from the second of the two racesfor which it has been accepted, in the order of the races as published in the handicaps.If a horse has been accepted in a handicap race and a terms race, then it shall be struckout from the handicap race.

(vi) The procedure for division of race/s will be as under:

a) Division of Handicap Races: -The procedure of allocating horses in to divisions will be as under:For example, if a race is left with 20 acceptors; the horses in eachdivision will be allocated as under:

1. If the acceptors are 20, 10 horses will be assigned to each division.

2. If all the horses belong to different Owner/ Trainer, the first 10 horses will beassigned to Division I and the remaining 10 acceptors will be in Division II.

3. If any Owner or Trainer has two horses accepted, the higher weighted/rated horse will be allocated to Division I and the lower weighted/ ratedhorse will be in Division II.

4. After separating the horses belonging to the same Owner/Trainer, thebalance number of horses required for a particular Division will be allocatedstarting from the top weighted horse, till the required number of horses forthat particular Division is met.

5. The same method will apply when any Owner or Trainer has 3 horsesaccepted in a race with the highest weighted horse falling in the Division Iand the lowest weighted being allocated in Division II and the third horsewill take its place in any of the two Divisions as per its weight.

6. If an Owner/ Trainer has 4 horses accepted in a race, the 2 highest weightedhorses will be in Division I and the 2 lowest weighted horses will be in Division II.

7. If an Owner has more than one acceptor and one of these acceptors is inthe charge of a Trainer who also has two acceptors, then such horses will be“grouped” and the highest weighted horse amongst these will be allocatedin Division I whilst the other horses will be separated as per the procedurestated in the above Clauses.

b) Division of 2/3 years old Terms Races: -

In the event of a race/s being divided into two divisions at acceptance stage, theacceptors in each division shall be determined by lot. Horses in the nominationof the same Owner or in the care of the same Trainer shall be separated. In caseof three or more such nominations, the exchange shall be determined by lot.

(vii) MINIMUM NUMBER OF ACCEPTORS IN RACE/S, OTHER THANSWEEPSTAKE RACES:

In races run below 2000 metres in Class I (horses rated 80 and upward)and Class II (horses rated 60 to 86), if the number of acceptors are lessthan 5 (Five), such race/s shall be declared void.

In races run 2000 metres and over in Class I (horses rated 80 and upward)and Class II (horses rated 60 to 86), if the number of acceptors are lessthan 4 (Four), such race/s shall be declared void.

In races run below 1600 metres in Class III (horses rated 40 to 66), if thenumber of acceptors are less than 7 (Seven), such race/s shall be declared void.

In races run over 1600 metres and 1800 metres in Class III (horses rated40 to 66), if the number of acceptors are less than 6 (Six), such race/s shallbe declared void.

In races run 2000 metres and over in Class III (horses rated 40 to 66), if thenumber of acceptors are less than 5 (Five), such race/s shall be declared void.

In races run below 1600 metres in Class IV (horses rated 20 to 46)andClass V (horses rated 4 to 30), if the number of acceptors are less than 8(Eight), such race/s shall be declared void.

In races run 1600 metres and over in Class IV (horses rated 20 to 46)andClass V (horses rated 4 to 30), if the number of acceptors are less than 6(Six), such race/s shall be declared void.

In races for 2 year old horses (ie upto 31st December 2019) if the number ofacceptors are less than 6 (Six), such race/s shall be declared void.

(viii) Any acceptor/s once balloted out from a race, shall not be included forballot in any race/s wherein it is an acceptor during the current meeting. Exceptfor Sweepstake races, the entry fee in respect of horse/s balloted out will berefunded.

(ix) In the event of the entries for the next Race Day/s are closing on the dayacceptances are held then only those horses which are balloted-out at theacceptance stage may be entered for the next race day/s but not later than 12.00noon for the entries which are advertised to close at 10.30 a.m. on that day.

(II) RACES WITH CONTRIBUTION TOWARDS STAKES / SWEEPSTAKERACES.

a) In case the numbers of acceptors exceed the prescribed Track limit, theexcess number of acceptors will be balloted out as per the conditions of therace or as per clause below.

b) If the number of runners in any such race is in excess of the safety limit,rejection will be based on the aggregate value of all stakes won by the horseafter 30th April 2017, in ascending order starting from the horse which hasearned the lowest aggregate stakes. In case of a tie, wherever applicable, thehorse/s to be rejected will be determined by ballot.

c) In Sweepstake races confined to maidens, rejection will be based on allstakes earned. In case of any horse/s being tied at this stage, the excessnumber of runners will be balloted out.

d) Only the Final Forfeit amount would be refundable in respect of anyhorse/s having been rejected from a Sweepstake race.

e) Any race with contribution towards stakes / sweepstake race may bedivided, at the absolute discretion of the Stewards, provided the secondrace formed by such division finds a contributor who will put in the entiremoney equivalent to the total prize from the race Fund plus the originalcontributor’s offer for the original race including Trophy. In the event sucha new race is formed then the entry fees/forfeits paid in by non-acceptorsshall be divided equally between the two races.It is also clarified that the second race formed after such division can benamed as per the wishes of the contributor of that division.

No race with contribution towards stakes shall be split into more than twodivisions as specified above.

f) Division of Race/s, other than Sweepstake race/s, will be as under: -

i) In terms races for 2 year olds in 2019/3year olds in 2020 division shallbe made only if the number of acceptors are or exceed 16 (Sixteen). In theseraces including divided races, excess number of acceptors beyond 15(Fifteen)

or beyond the track safety limit over that distance shall be balloted out orthe race will be divided as per the Rule in force.

ii) In races for Class I, II & III division shall be made only if the number ofacceptors are or exceed 16 (Sixteen). In all races including divided races,excess number of acceptors beyond 15 (Fifteen) or beyond the track safetylimit over that distance shall be balloted out or the race will be divided asper the Rule in force.

iii) In races for Class IV & V division shall be made only if the number ofacceptors are or exceed 20 (Twenty). In all races including divided races,excess number of acceptors beyond 19 (Nineteen) or beyond the track safetylimit over that distance shall be balloted out or the race will be divided asper the Rule in force.

iv) A horse once balloted out will not be excluded by ballot in any race/swherein it is an acceptor during the current meeting.

g) Norms for reframing of races which may be declared void:

There shall usually be a minimum of 6 (six) races on all Race Days. No void race/s need be reframed if the criteria of the Minimum number of races on a Race Dayare met.

In order to meet the criteria of minimum number of races per Race Day asadvertised, the void races shall be usually reframed (but not compulsorily)with the same conditions with fresh entries. Priority will be given to reframeraces with the maximum number of acceptors (which were declared void)first. The entries for such newly framed race/s would close at 1.00 p.m. onthe Day of the Acceptances.

The number of races may by and large be restricted to a maximum of 8(eight) on all Race Days. While dividing races, races with the maximumnumber of acceptors will be divided first. In case of two or more raceshaving the same acceptors, races will be divided in the order they arepublished in the handicaps, starting fr om the highest Class (Terms raceswill get preference over Handicap races at this stage). The excess numberof acceptors shall be balloted out as per the norms published in theprospectus.

(III) Races where the Trophies are donated will also be divided at theacceptance stage provided there are the requisite numbers of acceptors.However, the Stewards retain the right to reduce the Trophy value in thelower division at their absolute discretion.

(k) In the event of a horse being entered for a race for horses qualified in acertain way and should such horse become ineligible owing to winning ortransfer to another Class after the date of entry, the entry fee for any race forwhich a horse so becomes ineligible will be refunded.

Should a horse become eligible after the closing of the entries; the horse canbe entered on date and time the entries for the Day close.

(l) The accepting of entries for all races advertised in this Prospectus issubject to the following two conditions, namely

(i) That the Stewards reserve the right in connection with any race or races,should the conditions existing at any time so warrant, to cancel at theirabsolute discretion any race or races at any time before the actual running ofthe race or races, and

(ii) The Stewards reserve the right in connection with any race or races,should the conditions existing at any time so warrant, TO REDUCE ATTHEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION, THE AMOUNT/S OF THE PRIZE MONEY,entrance, forfeits and any other fees advertised to such extent as they maythink fit before the closing time fixed by them for accepting the entries.

If the Stewards decide to cancel and/or alter a race with contribution towardsstake on account of non-payment of the contribution agreed to by theconcerned contributor, the Stewards shall be entitled to reduce the stakemoney for the concerned race, as they may in their discretion deem fit underthe circumstances.

(m) Special attention is drawn to Rule 41 (g) of the Rules of Racing, whichreads as follows: -

“41. The Stewards of the Club have power at their discretion:-

(g) To order the advancement or cancellation or abandonment orpostponement of any race or Race Meeting and to sanction additional datesor frame new races for any Meeting and to make all such arrangements forthe Meeting as they may at their sole discretion think fit.”

3A.(a) No horse shall be entered in any race other than those for the Classin which it is rated by the R.W.I.T.C., Ltd. Handicapper, unless otherwisementioned in the conditions of the race.

(b) Horses which have raced at Meetings other than those conducted underthe Rules of R.W.I.T.C. Ltd subsequent to it being given a rating by theR.W.I.T.C., Ltd. Handicapper must be applied for re-rating to the R.W.I.T.C.Ltd Handicapper prior to entry for races under these Rules. Entries of anyhorse for which application for re-rating has not been received, may berefused or cancelled.

(c) In the event of a horse having raced at a Meeting other than under theR.W.I.T.C. Ltd Rules of Racing subsequent to its having been entered for arace under R.W.I.T.C. Ltd Rules, the entries of such horse will be void unlessan application for re-rating is received and the horse is rated prior to theclosing of Final Entries for the race for which it is entered.

(d) In the event of a horse having raced at a Meeting other than underR.W.I.T.C., Ltd Rules of Racing subsequent to having been handicappedunder R.W.I.T.C. Ltd Rules, such horse shall be withdrawn from the raceeven after it having been accepted or declared to start.

(e) All Trainers are hereby informed that a race for which entries haveclosed, no change in Class with rating will be permitted at the request ofthe Owner/Trainer to enable that horse to be entered.

3B. Foreign rigs are not permitted to run in races at Mumbai and Pune.

Re: Foreign Geldings, attention is drawn to the Notice published in theRacing Calendar, which reads as follows:-

“Owners and Trainers are informed that horses imported into this countrynot as entires but as geldings are not eligible at all to be entered for and to

run in any race in Mumbai or Pune in accordance with the terms of theLicense to Race granted by the State Government.

Horses imported into this country as entires but subsequently gelded willhowever be permitted to be entered for and to run in races for which theymay otherwise be eligible except such races by the conditions whereof theyare expressly precluded from doing so.”

Impor ted horses coming to race in Western India as per the existingconditions should have licence from the government authorities in Indiaspecifically to participate in races.

4(a) A horse may be transferred by the Handicapper from one Class to anotherin accordance with Rule 81, Rules of Racing.

(b) In all Handicaps, the lowest weight to be carried shall not be less than 49kg, excluding the allowance that a Jockey may claim. However, the handicapsmay be framed down to weights below 49 kg.

In all handicaps, the minimum top weight to be carried shall be 59 kg, thoughthe Handicapper may handicap horses higher than this minimum top weightas per their ratings, weights shall be raised up to 59 kg only (unless specificallyprovided otherwise) in the event the top weighted acceptor is below 59 kg.

In all handicap races, unless the terms of the race specify otherwise, whenthe top weight exceeds 59 kg, (the lowest permissible top weight) and thebottom weight is above 50 kg, the weights will be lowered at Handicap stageto the extent where the bottom weight does not go below 50 kg. In case thereis a horse handicapped at 50 kg the weights would not be lowered.

5. No entry will be received for any race except upon condition that it issubject to the Rules of Racing of the Royal Western India Turf Club, Ltd.,and the General Conditions as published in this Prospectus and that alldisputes, claims and objections arising out of such entry and/or the startand/or the running and/or the result of the race as in all other races under theRules of the Club shall be decided by the Stewards and that their authorityshall be supreme and their decision shall be final and shall not be liable to bequestioned in any Court of Law.

TIME OF STARTING DECLARATION

6A. Unless otherwise specified, Starting Declarations for each race must bein the Declaration Box set apart for that race (in the Weighing Room/RacingDepartment).

The Declaration must be in writing and signed by the Owner or his AuthorizedAgent, on an official form, which will be supplied by the Secretary, and muststate the name of the race, the name of the horse and weight to be carried,and the name of the Jockey. It shall also state if the horse is running shodor unshod; if the former, it shall state the description of plates or tips used.

Trainers will be held responsible for correctly filling in the column regardingshoeing.Omissions or errors in the Starting Declaration will render the owner or personmaking the Declaration subject to a fine at the discretion of the Stewards.

B. No person shall be declared to ride in a race who, at the time of Declaration,does not hold a valid licence under the Rules of this Club. However, a jockeywho has been suspended can be declared to ride in a race provided hissuspension is over at the time of the race.

Before the name of the rider is declared in the Starting Declaration, it shall bethe duty of the person making the Declaration, to ascertain first whethersuch rider holds a valid licence to ride in races under R.W.I.T.C., Ltd Rules ofRacing and further that such rider is qualified to ride in the race in which heis declared to ride. Also, that such Jockey is free of any other ridingengagement in that race. Any infringement of this General Condition will beseverely dealt with.

C.In the event of a Race Day being postponed due to unavoidablecircumstances, the Starting Declarations already placed in the boxes will betreated as cancelled and fresh Starting Declarations for the postponed RaceDay will be required to be deposited.

7. All horses running in a race must be brought into the Paddock within areasonable time. In the case of any horse brought late into the Paddock, theTrainer concerned will render himself liable to a fine.

8. Except as hereinafter provided, every person running a horse in coloursother than those registered in his name, will be fined. Where colours are notregistered, a declaration must be made of the colours to be used not laterthan 10 a.m. 2 days prior to the race; otherwise a fine will be imposed.

In the event of a person is unable to run a horse in colours as declared in theOfficial Race Card, the Jockey will wear “All Black”. A set of these coloursmay be obtained from the Clerk of the Scales.

9. In all handicaps, Winner of a race, after the publication of weights, to carry 6kg extra. This Rule shall also be applicable to any handicap race/s, which haveconditions, whereby the top weight is not to exceed a specified weight in theoriginal handicap.

10. An Owner or Trainer who desires that his horse carry an overweight inraces is permitted to do so.

a) If the intended overweight is upto 1.5 kg over the published weight, noprior permission is needed.

b) If the intended overweight is above 1.5 kg and upto 3.5 kg over thepublished weight, prior permission must be obtained before the start of thefirst race of the Day.

c) If the intended overweight is more than 3.5 kg over the published weight,prior permission must be obtained from the Stewards of the Club beforeAcceptance Stage; the rider or his substitute shall carry the overweight sopermitted.

When prior permission is required to be obtained to carry an over-weightbut is not obtained, the Trainer and/ or Jockey responsible will be liable fordisciplinary action, at the discretion of the Stewards.

11. Definition of Sweepstakes- A “Sweepstakes” is a race in which stakesare pooled by the Owners of three or more horses as may be specified by theterms of the race to be paid to the winner or placed horses and any such raceis still a sweepstakes when money or other prize is added.

In case the number of runners is less than the number of prize money offered,for subsequent places, the balance amount will be distributed between thewinner and those placed horses in the same proportion of percentage asspecified in the Prospectus for that race to the winner and placed horses.

Definition of Breeder - The “Breeder” is a person who owns the dam whenthe foal is dropped.

N.B.-Under no circumstances will any refund of Entry fee and/or Forfeits be grantedfor any horse/s prohibited from running in a race on veterinary grounds.

12. As per directions of the Committee of the Club, 10% of Win & Placecommissions earned by visiting trainers at this Centre, will be deducted andcredited to the Trainers’ Benevolent Fund account.

13. 6% of stakes earned by Owners will be deducted from the Owners accountand will be credited to the respective Trainers’ accounts for onward transferto The Race Stable Workers’ Welfare and Research Society.

14. 2% of all stakes earned by the Owners of out-station horses will bededucted and credited to the Club’s account to meet extra expenses oninfrastructure.

15. a) 0.25% of all stake money earned by Owners will be deducted and paidto the “Retired Race Horse Welfare Society, Hyderabad”.

b) 0.75% of all stake money earned by Owners would be deducted whichwould be credited to the Owners’ Association Account. This will be avoluntary contribution from Owners.

16. In view of the introduction of Goods and Services Tax (GST) Act w.e.f.1st July 2017, there will be a levy of GST @ 18 % on all payments made byOwners to the Club ie: Entry Fees, Sweepstakes, etc., & any other payment/deduction as applicable as per law. Any further changes due to GST will benotified separately.

17. Stake money earned, if any, by all Owners will be credited to their accountsafter deducting 3% of the total stake money for contingencies, provided theowner has submitted the required undertaking for the financial years 2018-

19 and 2019-20 for incorporating stake money earned, if any, whilst preparingtheir Return of Income and also provided the owner has submitted the requiredcertificates from their Chartered Accountants for the past years; failing whichthe stake money will be withheld. In this connection, kindly refer to Club’sletter dated 15th May, 2014 sent to all Owners.

18. Amount of stakes payable to Trainers and Jockeys, as reflected in theProspectus, represents commission on stake payable by Owners to them asdecided by the Committee of the Club.

19. At the time of making entries for races, Trainers of out-station horses mustenter the names of the Owners and their addresses in the prescribed form, failingwhich the entry fee/forfeits will be debited to the trainer’s account.
