House of Jaipurias- Empowerment through education

One of the largest textile conglomerates of Northern India,

the founding fathers of the group chose education as the most

powerful medium for empowering citizens of free India. In

pursuance of this thought, they set up their first institution in

the year 1945, a degree college named 'Seth Anandram

Jaipuria College' under the aegis of Seth Anandram Jaipuria

Trust in Kolkata. It was inaugurated by Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru,

the first Prime Minister of independent India. This college has

completed 70 years and has 7000 students on roll.

Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Kanpur, started in 1974,

was inaugurated by Dr. Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed, President of

India, while the foundation stone was laid by Smt. Indira

Gandhi, the Prime Minister of India. The School is affiliated to

the Council for the ICSE and has both the Science & Commerce

streams on its curriculum for both boys & girls. Rated

consistently as the best school in the city of Kanpur for last

many years, the school has 2600 students in classes from

nursery to XII. It has contributed very strongly in building the

Jaipuria Brand in the field of education by its excellent

academic record, all round performance in co-curricular

activities and illustrious alumni who have made a name for

themselves in several fields. The school celebrated its 40th

anniversary in year 2014 which was also marked by the

publication of a Coffee Table Book that chronicled the growth

and evolution of the school.

Little One- The Jaipuria Pre- School, Kanpur

Besides the above mentioned institutions, the group has started

a Pre-Primary School ‘ Little One’ in 2013-14 at Kanpur and has

got an overwhelming response. The Pre- School has been

conceptualized with a well planned infrastructure and conducive

school environment to facilitate learning . It caters to the unique

needs of every child and aims at sharpening their multiple

intelligence .The curriculum has been designed to incorporate

best of various methodologies for skill enhancement.

Carrying forward its legacy, the Jaipuria group has started a

school in Lucknow in 2016. This school is being set up in

Ansal, Sushant Golf City, one of the largest residential areas

coming up in northern India. The school has the state-of-the-

art infrastructure and is equipped with all the modern tools

that are used in the field of education including computer labs,

smart classes etc. The emphasis is laid on experiential

learning, activity based interactive sessions based on unique

Thursday and Friday Activity

School offers national syllabus developed by the NCERT, New Delhi in the light of the

New education policy. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary

Education.

The school prepares students for :

a) All India Secondary Examination (at the end of class X)

b) All India Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (at the end of class XII)

Teachers are the heart of the school. The highly competent faculty is the result of a

rigorous selection process. Management of Jaipuria School possesses over 100 years of

experience in the education field. Responsibility, dedication, love, care and efficiency is

the potential of our teachers.

The whole school (except Nursery & Prep) is divided into 4 Houses for inculcating team

spirit and encouraging healthy competition among students. The Houses conduct

assemblies, participate in competitions and also take charge of overall well being of the

school. The Houses are Ganga, Narmada, Godavari & Krishna. Each House is supervised

by a House incharge assisted by a team of teachers and office bearers of students'

council in managing the day to day commitment.

Thursday & Friday are special days for our students when they are encouraged to

spend time in activities of their special interest like music, dance, dramatics, art & craft,

best out of waste, fabric painting, logical reasoning, general awareness, robotics,

animation, multimedia, photography, science club, meal planning, reading , public

speaking, basketball, badminton, skating, gymnastic, taekwondo and karate. We have

Sports & Fitness are integral to a holistic education, providing lifelong pleasure &

fulfillment, relaxation, exercise, self esteem and team spirit. Sports are played on an

interhouse and interschool format . Students are provided opportunity to play a

variety of games like football, table tennis, volleyball, badminton, cricket, basketball,

Kho-Kho and many other games. They are given exposure to play at interschool level,

interstate level, national and international level in various sports competitions. School

Change in Prospectus

The prospectus is liable to change without notice. Any such change, when made, will be binding on all existing students also.

not to engage teachers of this school as private tutors of

their wards at all.

?Parents / guardians and others are requested not to visit the

?All communication with the school should bear the name,

class and section of the student.

?Only written requests from parents to allow the child to

leave before the school closes will be entertained. Parents

are advised not to call away their wards during class hours.

?All belongings of students should bear their names and

classes. The school will not be responsible for any loss.

?Parent-Teacher Meetings are held at regular intervals to

provide parents and teachers an opportunity for

exchanging views on the progress of the students.

?Parent orientation programmes are also held from time to

2. Admission Procedure

1.1 Registration Forms are to be filled in and submitted to

the School Office before the end of the Registration

period.

1.2 Incomplete or illegible Registration Forms, without

photographs will not be processed / accepted.

1.3 Dates for test / interviews / interaction will be given at

the time of registration. The school authorities reserve

the right to change the date and time of the interview.

1.4 Mere issue of form or registration does not confirm

admission which is subject to Admission Test /

interviews / interaction and also to the availability of

seats.

1.5 Photocopy of Birth Certificate issued by Municipal

Corporation or concerned civic authority must

accompany the Registration Form for classes Nursery

& Prep.

Photocopy of report card of the last exam passed must

be attached with the Registration Form for classes I &

above.

1.6 Age of admission to class Nursery is 3+ yrs. to 4+ yrs.

on 1st April of the academic session in which admission

is being sought. Age should be properly specified on

the form. Request for relaxation of age criterion will not

be entertained.

2.1 Entrance Test / Interview:

a) There will be a written test for the students seeking

admission to Classes I upwards.

b) Results will be displayed on the Notice Board on the

dates specified.

2.2 Admission Formalities :

a) Successful candidates whose names are included in

the list must pay the fees by the dates indicated on

the list, displayed on the School Notice Board,

otherwise admission will automatically stand

cancelled.

b) The date of birth of child is required to be supported

by the birth certificate in original issued by the

Municipal Corporation / Local bodies as applicable,

along with a certified photostat copy thereof. An

affidavit or any other evidence is not acceptable in

support of birth certificate. It is to be attached with

the Admission Form for Classes Nursery , Prep and

Class I. For Class 2 and above Transfer Certificate

along with report card of the last class attended is to

be attached.

c) The admit card will be issued to parents only after

the form is duly filled and the registration formalities

are completed.

d) You ward has to report in complete School Uniform,

along with books and stationery as prescribed by

the school on the very first day (Uniform, Books and

Stationery are available at the school's books and

uniform shop).

3.1 Application for withdrawal is to be made on the

prescribed proforma available in the school office. No

child is withdrawn till a written request from parents is

put up.

3.2 A one-month notice period or one-month notice fee is

required for withdrawal.

3.3 Clearance must be obtained from the laboratory and

library incharge before applying for withdrawal.

3.4 Transfer Certificate will be issued after 15 days of the

receipt of the application and clearance of all dues.

4.1 Request for using the bus must be made at the

beginning of the session i.e. in the month of April. No

request will be entertained during the mid session.

4.2 Existing routes will continue to ply. Change in routes

and bus stops will not be entertained during the

session.

4.3 It will be the sole responsibility of the parents to escort

the pupil to and from the fixed bus stops. The bus

facility is extended at the sole risk and responsibility of

the parents.

4.4 Any suggestions or complaints should be reported to

the transport incharge. Parents are expected to treat

the bus staff kindly.

5.1 Management reserves the right to modify, alter and /

or include any other terms and conditions that may be

deemed fit in the interest of the Institution.

5.2 SAJS reserves its right to change the Fee Structure.

6.1 The school has a well equipped dispensary to deal with

emergency.

6.2 The school provides facilities of First-aid only.

6.3 The school cannot be held responsible for injury

suffered by a child. No reimbursement of charges

would be made towards any medical treatment.

6.4 The School has an In-house Doctor & a trained Nurse.

7.1 All students and Parents are covered through insurance.

8.1 At the time of admission, fee is payable by bank

draft/pay order only at the school office.th 8.2 Fee is to be paid in advance for every quarter up to 20

8.6 Bank charges of 500/- would be payable by the

guardians / parents if the fee cheque is dishonored.

8.7 After due date Late Fee @ R 20/- per day as a penalty ndwill be charged up to the 02 month of the quarter

rd(i.e. May, August, Nov & Feb). From 03 Month of the

quarter (i.e. June, Sep, Dec & March) R 5000/- will be

charged as RE-ADMISSION FEE. The name of the

student will be struck off the rolls if the fee is not paid

by the end of the quarter month.

8.8 Re admission fee for class XI is 2000/-

8.9 In case of withdrawal of admission, refund is as per the

refund policy mentioned below:

1. Before the start of session & (i.e. 1st April 20_ _) all charges

will be refunded other than admission charges.

2. If withdrawal is after the commencement of session

(i.e. 1st April 20_ _) only caution money will be refunded.

3. Transport fee will be charged extra, if applicable.
