Please note, Contec is updating packaging, case labeling, and Safety Data Sheets (formerly MSDSs) for all solvents, presaturated wipes, and disinfectants to comply with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS). These modifications will allow for an internationally standardized approach to hazard communication and classification.

Beginning in July, you will notice the following changes:

Updated Safety Data SheetsIn compliance with GHS, Contec is designing a new Safety Data Sheet (SDS) format that includes an updated layout and significantly improved product information. It features GHS Pictograms, Signal Word, GHS Classification, Precautionary Statements, and Emergency Overview. Additionally, the NFPA and HMIS classifications are shown as well as the superseded Canadian WHMIS symbols.
