I chose to use this because it symbolises a story that is probably going to be told throughout the film. It tells the audience that there is going to be a vicar in the piece, indicating the religious undertone. It looks torn and because of the untidy nature of it, it seems to be something which has been folded and unfolded repeatedly, almost like someone fretting. I will most likely only use this prop in the woodland rather than in both locations like most other objects, because when I found it it looked like this - if it was in Aaron's home, it would not be so dirty and it would need to be clean. It also would not look right inside the house, because there is no point at which it would have been something in the home which was given the same care as other objects, such as the camera and knife.

This is a steely grey pocket watch style pendant, which is on the end of a lengthy chain of the same colour. The hands no longer worked in concordance with time and hence, to almost explain why, I broke the glass face. This makes it also look as though it has a lot of history, backed up by the detailed engravings on the outside of the watch, such as on the button at the top. I think the colour scheme of this object will suit the piece well, because when I have added in the colour change to the footage, it will stand out, the white face especially. It has no real significance to my piece, but it symbolises someone's time having run out, and this helps the audience to understand why Sadie is in the woods, but clearly not dead. This will be in the woodlands only too, and most likely will be placed against some form of wood to contrast it.

This rosary will be used in both locations; hanging from a tree in the woodland, and in Aaron's hand in the house. I chose to use this necklace because it has a pendant of Jesus, and it also has a small piece of metal depicting someone else - in Leviticus it forbids using false idols. This would hence be something Aaron considers to be unclean, and explains why he has it. I liked the black and silver together, although they are difficult to film in the woods. They look good when against the gloves that Aaron wears.I ensured that the chain was long so that it would be easy to wrap around Aaron's hand, and also so that it would sway when hanging from the tree.

I am using these as they put a barrier between Aaron and the things he touches which he perceives to be "unclean". They are white because he perceives his deeds as good, despite the fact that they are not. In the TV series "Dexter", the serial killer wears gloves in order to make himself untraceable, which is something that I am reflecting through these gloves. They will not appear in the woodland because they are Aaron's costume in my piece, and he is not in this location. He will be wearing these in the scenes inside the house, because he is touching things he thinks are unclean.

This earrings loosely represents the part of Leviticus where it is said to be unclean to wear items made of two different materials. This earring is made of faux pearls and fake gold, which will hopefully both come across as being real in the piece. The earring will be only in the woodland, inside Sadie's hand as she lays down. The materials should juxtapose the pale skin of the young girl well, and hence it should stand out and catch the viewers eye.

There are lots of these passages, all from the book of Leviticus. They will be shown in the woodland and they will be seen mainly through an extreme close up on some words, such as "unclean", "abhorred" and "the priest". These will further instill the message of what is going on to the audience. I have around 10 of these passages, and they have all been aged with teabags. I did not want them to be perfectly white because, although this is something that Aaron may want, it meant that they looked utterly out of place in the woodland and in the entire piece. They will be shown quickly and will be emphasised through the extreme close up.
