I will fulfill, to the best of my ability, the following obligations and responsibilities of membership: • Attend a Board of Directors meeting • Attend Club Trainer's new member orientation program • Maintain an accurate member-profile in ClubRunner • Be a Club Greeter (no less than three times in the first 60 days of membership) • Engage and participate in a Club committee • Volunteer in Club Fund-raisers: flag program, funnel cake booth, Christmas parade Attend District 5810-lead events & training • Serve on projects that make lasting change both in Allen, the nation, and internationally • Be an active participating-member of the Rotary Club of Allen Sunrise I hereby certify that I am qualified for membership both by my current/ former executive position having a place of employment or residence within the club’s locality or surrounding area. I will help the Club achieve its Rotary Citation goals by annually contributing to Rotary Foundation in addition to agreeing to pay invoiced 2021-2022 Club dues ($300), payable either annually in full, semi-annually, or quarterly schedule. If accepted for membership, I will exemplify the Object of Rotary in all my daily contacts/ activities and abide by the constitutional documents of Rotary International and the club. I hereby give permission to the Rotary Club of Allen Sunrise to publish my name and proposed classification, if applicable, to its membership. The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:
FIRST: The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
SECOND: High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying of each Rotarian’s occupation as an opportunity to serve society;
THIRD: The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian’s personal, business, and community life;
FOURTH: The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.
