  • Some of the purposes are:To survey attitudes of the consumersTo conduct a training program for the employeesTo help implement ERP within an organizationTo organize a stall at an exhibition for sales promotion

  • Proposals are sales presentations, easily classified in to following:Research ProposalsBusiness Proposals Length: Short/Long and formal, may be solicited or unsolicited.

  • Research Proposal is usually academic in nature.Users: Professors, or the Universities or the B-schools for which they work,

  • Solicited Business Proposals: Competition is likely, as others may also submit the same.Unsolicited Business Proposal: The sender needs to convince the reader/review committee about his/her understanding of the organizations needs or problems and that s/he can help solve it.
