Spectrum Audio Visual is a leading Audio Visual (AV) Systems Integrator in Singapore specializing in the Design and Build of Audio Visual Solutions. Established since 1999, we serve customers from a diverse range of industries including those from the Government, Financial, Education, Healthcare, Business and Entertainment sectors, as well as Houses of Worship.

Underpinning our business is our long-term relationships with leading AV brands including Cisco, Polycom, Epson, Samsung, Panasonic, Yamaha, Electro-Voice, JBL, BSS, Sennheiser, Crestron, Extron and many more. This enables us to offer you a whole suite of products and solutions including state-of-the-art visual conferencing tools, engaging interactive displays, eyecatching digital signage and live video streaming solutions, amongst others.

We boast a staff strength of more than 80. Out of this, more than 45 comprise technical staff from our Engineering Division. Our team of highly-experienced Certified Audio Visual and Unified Conferencing Specialists possesses the deep technical skills and knowledge to deliver tailored design and implementation solutions for projects of any scale and complexity. A detailed design phase sets the stage for a successful project. We develop schematic diagrams to a very high level of detail in order to demonstrate the functionality of the proposed system and show how each component is connected.

Our schematic diagrams indicate the pin levels, major components, sub components, cabling, input and output flow, as well as data outlet and power requirements. This ensures that the design can meet our customers’ intended requirements.

Deep Pool of Technical ExpertiseWe have one of the largest technical teams in Singapore’s AV industry, with more than 45 skilled technicians and engineers divided into 3 specialist areas – Video, Audio and Automation – to serve our customers.

Our technical team undergoes rigorous classroom and on-the-job training to equip them with the skills and competencies to deliver projects of any size and capacity. Internally, we rank our specialists from Levels 1 to 4 according to their breadth and depth of skills, with Level 4 being the highest for those with vast experience and leadership skills. Our fault ticketing system tracks and monitors fault calls that are received. The system generates a ticket as a fault receipt and logs the time of the call for quality assurance.

Our centre is equipped with video conferencing testing facilities. This enables our engineers to test and fine-tune the far-end audio, video and connectivity of our customers’ video conferencing system by connecting their system to ours.

Maintenance Services

An Operating and Maintenance Manual (OMM) includes details of the schematic drawings, inventory list, product serial numbers and operating instructions. It is essential to collate and document information on all elements of an AV system so that troubleshooting and diagnostics can be done accurately should any issues arise. We can help companies that have not done so to compile the OMM.

A system audit and health check is a form of preventative maintenance that can help you to identify problems, errors and performance issues. Our engineers can visit your site to check whether your systems are performing at an optimum level and will write an assessment report following the visit.

The Singapore Workforce Development Agency’s Continuing Education and Training (CET) centre is a one-stop destination that offers skills training and continuous learning courses to boost the competitiveness of Singapore’s workforce and help the workforce remain employable.

The CET’s new East and West campuses in Paya Lebar Central and Jurong Lake District respectively serve as gateways to deliver skills upgrading, bringing together career centres, skills assessment facilities and facilities for the delivery of recruitment and career workshops. We were tasked to supply, install, test and commission the Audio Visual System, Stage Lighting and Outdoor LED at these two campuses. The Singapore American School (SAS) is a non-profit, independent and co-educational day school that offers an American-based curriculum for students from preschool through high school. The SAS campus in Woodlands boasts state-of-the-art facilities and modern classrooms to facilitate learning.

Spectrum was involved in the project is to install and integrate an Electronic Acoustic Enhancement System in SAS’ upgraded school auditorium. The new sound system optimized acoustics for the audience. By adding a natural acoustics ambience and allowing for a calibration of the sound settings for different types of performances, this led to a pleasant experience for both performers and the audience.

Yishun Community Hospital is one of Singapore’s largest community hospitals, providing rehabilitation service and an integrated care experience for patients, through a connected network of healthcare teams, information flow and treatment plans. This new hospital opened its doors to patients in 2015.

Bethesda Cathedral is a vibrant and independent Christian church located in Chai Chee, Singapore. It offers worship, ministry and community services to its church members.

Spectrum was involved in Bethesda Cathedral’s upgrading project by supplying, installing, testing and commissioning the Audio Visual, Stage Lighting and Professional Audio systems for the church’s Youth Sanctuary and Kids’ Hall.
