Our eye is always on more than just a product or service—it’s about sharing the experience that comes with it, and communicating the unique story behind it.

Our design strategies focus on connecting with the right people and their values, and helping them understand why they should join your community, and say Yes! to what you offer.

What We Know About You We've had the opportunity to learn a bit about you and what you do, and we're looking forward to learning more as we work with you. Here's a quick overview of what we've learned so far, and what we’d recommend for making your brand shine:

• A full redesign of your website, which reflects a fun and personal yet professional brand, and is simple, straightforward, and mobile optimized.

• More user-friendliness for job searchers and those who need to log their hours.

• Seamless integration of the website and SmartSearch jobs board, using consistent branding for each.

• Web copy that’s specific to your target audience, and communicates which job markets you do and don’t provide services for.

• Images on your website that are more inclusive and reflect a more diverse demographic of job-seekers, while also targeting office workers in their mid-20s to late-40s.

• Clarity about what social media platforms and methods work best to target the sort of clients that Reliant Search serves.

recommendations We're not just about making your website look awesome--we also want you to get the awesome results you're craving, so your business will grow and prosper! With that in mind, we have a few recommendations we think you should consider and plan for to strengthen your online presence:

• Brand and Design Refresh: Your website’s layout is a few years out of date and needs a refresh that reflects your business’s personality, and its reputation as a community fixture. It also needs imagery more in line with the types of clients you are seeking.

• Copy Updates: You get a few more inquiries that are outside of your target clientele that you’d like. Your site needs copy that expresses exactly who you can help. Your site copy should also be optimized for search engines using keywords that attract mid-career job seekers.

• Website and Job Board Integration: Your current job board needs to be updated right along with your other branding elements, and the closer it can function in conjunction with your main website, the easier it will be for job-seekers to find and access.

• Social Media: We recommend maintaining a regular social media schedule on Facebook and Linkedin and following a carefully planned, metrics-driven strategy to follow. The goal is to create more opportunities for new potential clients to find your work and your website, and for you to be as easily discoverable as the larger corporate competitors.

Website Design and Development Brochure Website DesignOur website design process is more than just a facelift. Your new website will be driven by your business goals and the vision we create for your brand. We guide you through content strategy and voice for your website, and take care of the design and techie details. We’ll make sure all of the “Ts” are crossed, so your website gets you the results you’re looking for.

With your Brochure Website Design, we’ll work together to find just the right template for your website, and then custom tailor it to fit your business, branding, and content strategy.

• Your homepage will clearly communicate who your target clientele is, and clearly direct visitors to view your job board, and get in touch with you.

• All pages on your website will be designed to present content provided by you with a friendly, light-hearted, yet professional feel that fits your brand and the values and showcases your business’s sterling reputation and community connections.

• We'll keep the most important content on your website in mind when we select and customize templates, and we'll make sure that content remains prominent, visually appealing, and easy-to-find.

Content StrategyWe’ll reaffirm your goals and identify ways that your new website will help you achieve them. From there, we’ll kick off the process of creating and refining content, so your new website will attract the right people.

• Content Audit: We’ll do a page-by-page review of your existing website content, from words to images to calls-to-action. We’ll determine what we can carry forward, what’s missing, and what could use some refinement. When possible, information will be consolidated into fewer pages that still communicate all necessary information.

• Client Discovery: Our discovery process  is designed to guide you through finding and refining your brand voice. You’ll work together with us to identify your story and unique strengths, so we can transform it into powerful, actionable copy that will help your website do the selling for you.

Content Responsibility: By embarking on this project, you accept responsibility for delivery of content for your new website, whether content is created by you or by a third party. If content is not delivered by the due date established in the project timeline, the website  launch date may be postponed.

Design MockupsBased on our findings during your Content Strategy phase, we’ll select a base theme that fits with the goals and structure for your new website. From there, we’ll provide you with mockups that show the style, color, and brand direction we’ve conceptualized for you. You’ll also have ample opportunity to provide feedback for us to incorporate into the final product.

Website BuildOnce you’ve approved your Design Mockups, we’ll build your website on top of the WordPress Content Management System, preferred by Team Upswept for its ease of use, flexibility, stability, and search-engine friendliness.

If your website team isn’t already familiar with using WordPress to manage and update website content, don’t fret! We’re here to help you learn the ropes with custom user documentation and in-person training prior to site launch.

job board design & integrationFor your website to be a tool that supports your business, you need it to integrate as smoothly as possible with any third-party tools and utilities that you use. We’ll make sure your job board tools are as aligned with your website, both visually and technologically, as those tools will allow.

Our areas of focus will include:

• Directing the redesign of your job board pages, based on the design decisions we’ve made for your main website redesign;

• Identifying and implementing the best available pathway to create a visually cohesive and strategically structured user experience;

• Identifying and implementing the best available pathway to grant access to web analytics on the job search platform, enabling you to gain insight on your users’ needs and struggles.

Social Media roadmapYour online presence is an essential part of your company’s identity, and every social media platform is unique. We believe that setting the right goals and then following through is the key to success in social media marketing.

Your updated plan for 2020 will outline content guidelines, tone, and goals for both your Facebook and LinkedIn marketing. This plan will serve as the foundation on which we’ll build your social media presence.

The Social Media Roadmap includes these specifics for Facebook and Linkedin:

• Concrete goals that will give you something to work towards with your online presence

• A posting schedule for optimized reach and engagement

• Content guidelines to help inspire your content creation
